I think they did the right thing, telling the Iranians whatever it is they wanted to hear. The first obligation of a prisoner is to escape. They found a way to do it too, without compromising their country or their lives. I'd say they did better than alright in such a dire international situation. Maybe they could teach our Imperious Leader a thing or two about swallowing your pride!
