Sunday is the annual celebration of our Planet Earth called Earth Day. I hope all of us can observe this holiday in some positive manner. The earth and her creatures including human beings are all linked with each other.

The Oprah Winfrey show had an earth day theme yesterday. Her guests had lots of interesting tips. The info is on her website.

Yeah for Mother Earth!

I walked to church, planted two trees and picked up trash at Miller beach. Hopefully, Mother Earth will be pleased.

I was exhausted last night, and sore as hell this morning.

We planted one thousand trees (about two dozen of Iains family, plus a boy scout troop) this weekend, and have plans to do it again next year.

At one time most of Scotland was heavily forested, but it all got cut down. Most of the families lands are very barren looking. So like many Scots landowners, they/we are replanting.

Iain took me to see his grandfathers old farm - an old ruin of a stone tower house(no one has lived there in 50+ years) on a small hill overlooking the river. Every time I go up there I find something new and very beautiful.
