Okay, here is what I have found out after extensive research. Will did not die in an auto accident. I have been in contact with a family member and he is alive and safe. The family has requested privacy for Will at this time. They will let him make the decision to contact us if he so chooses. I have emailed Jim and Cyd and after discussion about Will's situation we agreed to lock this thread.
Thanks guys for all your concerns for Will. Just give him time.

I'm sorry, Gadbear, but that's just not good enough. I found the idea of such a horrific accident confronting and upsetting, especially in the context of the thread in which it was first raised. I felt for the guy and his family, and I don't even know him/them. Now you're telling us he isn't dead, that his family needs privacy, and we should give him time. Fair enough that his family has requested privacy because really, it wasn't his family who posted the information of his (alleged) death on this board. What I'm a little (understatement) peeved about is that you brought this to our attention, people (including myself) responded with (understandably) shock and sympathy, but after you uncovered the truth, you have asked that the thread be closed without any further ado.
Come on Gadbear, given that you had posted the false information in the first place (in two separate threads), and elicited responses as a result, you have a responsbility to actually tell us what you have uncovered (at the very least keep the thread open). Not good enough that you discover what happened but then won't share that information and, instead, ask that the thread be closed. I don't need to be thanked for my concerns, I just expect some answers.
