It's May and that means we need to hear more stories about Saint Brett of Favre. But this time it's not about retiring, oh no no no...it's about being traded??!!!!
Favre asks to be tradedIs it just me or is this man taking his mid-life crisis well into old age?

Drama Queen figured out he screwed up by not carrying on until June about retirement. He went and decided right away to return, and people stopped paying attention to him. So he needed some way to get attention, so he decided to lobby for Randy Moss probably knowing there's no way the Packers wanted Moss so he could throw a fit when they didn't get him.

Brett's forced (or unforced) statement for damage control.
I never REALLY wanted to be traded.Oh and I love the last line of the article
"...I look forward to playing with this team and seeing what we can do. I think we can be pretty good."Not great but "
pretty good." If that doesn't get Packers fans pumped for this season I don't know what will.

The Packers did pretty well last season all things considered, so I am mystified by their lack of action this offseason. Being a Viking fan I'm not complaining, but they have cap room and really didn't do anything free agent-wise and their draft looks to be below average.

I see it as Packers management taking advantage of the commitment of the Packers fans. My brother is a huge Packers fan and adores Brett Favre and is very happy Favre is sticking around. He doesn't care about the forecast of a dismal season. Why go out and spend good money on a team when they don't have to? People will pack Lambeau Field regardless of the caliber of team the Green Bay Packers have this year.

Leave Brett alone,
