Hey Outsporters!
I know it's short notice and I'm not sure I can pull it off but my roommate has just informed me he's leaving for Ohio on Thursday and won't be back 'til Tuesday.
That leaves our place open for an Football Party this Sunday. Something I've been wanting to do since I moved to SF. I've watched games at the Lonestar, Daddy's, Pilsner Inn and the Mix but none will leave the sound on for me. I like some commentary with my beer and my boys dammit!
If I can pull it together is anyone up for coming over?
I'll make food. We'll drink beer. I'll put on my pads, jock and cleats and do my favorite end-zone celebrations...you know, the usual.
I live in the Castro on Vulcan Stairway. Got a 52-incher upstairs and a nice HD set down below.
Thanks!

If I lived nearby I'd definitely be there for your party...but what is "Vulcan Stairway"? Star Trek exercise equipment? wink

I wanna know what a "52 incher" is. Worth moving back to SF for???
The SF group MAX - Men's Associated Exchange - used to hold Super Bowl parties in SF when the Niners were kickin' butt in the '80s. When that dynasty ended, so did MAX's SB party, but while they lasted they were a LOT of fun.

JIP - I know it's a weird address...lol. Some people in SF live on Stairways and not actual streets. That's how packed and hilly it is here.
"Let's go Scotty! 5 more minutes!" "I'm sorry Cap'n, I cannot change the laws of physics!"
GMG - Well unfortunately I'm speaking of my television. My talliewacker is not quite half that frown

Well it looks like it's not gonna happen. I'll probably end up at the Lonestar again but that's not too bad. They have free peanuts.
If anyone wants to get a group together for the Super Bowl, let me know. We can do it at my place or maybe meet out somewhere.
