I just got this in my email tonight. Did you know that there is now a way for W to declare an emergency and to take over control of all governmental functions? Normally, I wouldn't be so intimidated or alert to something like this but with all of the insanity that our Imperious Leader has tried, this isn't exactly so far-fetched now. Read this and see what you think. The hair on the back of my neck is still standing!

Heard about this last nite on "Coasttocoastam" with George Noory.
I call it shredding the Constitution.
Very scary.

Did you read the document in its entirity?
I really didn't see anything objectionable at first glance.
Which part of the document is most troubling to you?
Except for some phrasing and expansion is it really so different than Presidential Decision Directive 67 of October 21, 1998 ("Enduring Constitutional Government and Continuity of Government Operations")?
Considering some of the other things this Administration has done to shred the Constitution, I find this to be actually moderate.
But then I have always despised Bush and everything the hypocrite stands for.

I find that the back door to taking control has been a national emergency. Hitler tried and succeeded. Mussolini tried and succeeded.
History has a tendency to repeat itself. And the national emergency declaration has been covered in that directive on homeland security. That's what I find most disturbing, even after some careful consideration.
