YAY JOHNS HOPKINS!!! What a great game. I'm a Philly/Baltimore resident and my house in Baltimore is in walking distance to Johns Hopkins. I went to the University of Maryland and am well aware of Johns Hopkins' lacrosse dynasty. Hats off to them for an amazing national championship ride. Duke didn't get their Cinderella ending but for them to show the focus and determination to make it to the national championship game, one year after the atrocity that wrongfully suspended their season, hats off. Nothing to be ashamed of by losing to a college lacrosse dynasty by one point.

Still loving it. Johnz Hopkinz connections on a couple of fronts here too. Duke did really well to come back against them like that. Obviously riding an emotional wave.
Have to wonder if the team will start to break up now though. The stress of the publicity must be taxing on athletics and academics after a while.
Must admit I was feeling a little something for the Blue Hens in the semis as well. Connections there too.
Small world Lax.

Well the seniors who had their season suspended were granted an extra year of eligibilty by the NCAA so if the gusy decide to stick around another year, Duke will be good again next year. The bigger issue will be recruiting for the future. Even though the players were cleared, I wonder if kids (or their parents) will want to go to Duke in light of how the school hung them out to dry so easily.
