Ok let's here it.... All the SEC bashing..... LOL

I think the ACC is going to make a major come back. The entire conference has been told over and over again all off season about how down it is with example given to the ranking above. It is too early and frankly I find the positioning absurd and everyone is quick to bury the ACC after one lousy year. And after a very commendable year for the Big East last year, they are suddenly compatible with the SEC? Please.

I don't think the writer was alluding the Big East is comparable to SEC football. He states he believes the Big East could be as high as #2 if not for having only 8 teams in the conference by suggesting the top 3 teams of the Big East are as good as the Pa-10 and Big 10.. Not having 1-3 more teams hurts the BE when it comes time to compare conferences. For instace, the Big East had 8 teams last season. The Big East 8th Syracuse ( last place team) place team beat #7 Illini from the Big 10. The Big 10 has 11 teams in the conference. Also, #7 BE team UCONN beat the Big 10'S 6TH PLACE TEAM Indiania. By having only 8 teams, it's difficult to gauge where exactly teams stack up. The Big East is at a disadvantage. Overall it looked like it was soundly better than the Big 10 wish exception to Wisconsin, OSU, and Michigan. Rutgers, WVU, and Louisville can hold their own with those three. So, the winner has to go to the Big 10 just based on the number size of having more teams to choose from.

Hold their own what? OSU would mop the floor with any "Big" East team without even feeling it.

On what basis?

Also, the BE argubly has 3 teams better than OSU this year- WVU, Louisville, and Rutgers. USF would make a run for 2nd place in the Big 10.

USF at Auburn. USF wins this game.

I didn't win the college football bowl pic em for nothing.

As the saying goes, you're only as good as your last game. Or in this case, only as good as you're last "contest". wink.gif
