Global Peace Index

In a rating of 121 nations Norway is apparently the safest place in the world to live. Canada is 8th. The US is 96th, between Yemen and Iran.
The survey criteria includes political involvement, corruption, crime, military, economics, education etc.

That's it, I'm moving to Canada. wink.gif

Hmmm! And Iraq is @ the bottom of that list. Not a shocker there. rolleyes.gif mad.gif

That should bear significance for Immigration. Citizens from 120 countries trying to break down the doors to the USa while US citizens are trying to sneak in to Canada.

Maybe the Statue of Liberty should be swinging a .45 rather than a flame.

I believe that if we could just give Texas back to Mexico and reverse the 1836 secession, our Global Peace Index would probably move into the top 40.

Well to be fair alot of the nations ranked ahead of us have been at this alot longer. And hey, Top 100 is nothing to shake a stick at. rolleyes.gif tongue.gif

I wanna know why we slipped to 8th place. Maybe we should blame it on our Conservative Government.

Every good American Republican knows that Canada is a socio-neo-commie godless state, known as Canukistan, where they have the horrors of universal health care. Why, they're just begging to be set free.

And yes, that was ALL sarcasm. The dogs have had me up since 3:30 this morning, and I am a wee bit cranky. mad.gif

But if any of you jocks wanna move north of the border, that's just okey dokey with me. There seems to be an acute shortage of gay jocks here. I'll even wash your back.

What a brilliant idea! And maybe we can build a Nazi concentration camp right next to her at the bottom of her base. blink.gif rolleyes.gif

Top 100 ain't bad???

There aren't but about 150-175 countries total in the world. That gets us a very solid failing grade.

Um, I was being sarcastic. Guess I didn't use enough emoticons.

Texas doesn't belong to anyone or thing with the rights to 'give it back' to Mexico. Texas was a nation, The Republic of Texas, when it joined the union, first in 1836 and again in 1845 after the civil war. However, feel free to return those portions of New Mexico and the western U.S. which are west of the Rio Grande, in New Mexico and Colorado, and were acquired from Mexico in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo in 1848.

Texas will be glad to retain Summit County, Colorado, part of the original Republic of Texas where the motto of Colorado is 'If God had meant Texans to ski, he'd have made bullshit white.'

Funny, I thought Texas was its own planet! laugh.gif
