Obama sorry for interrupting Yankees-Sox

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire (CNN) — Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, knows he had stiff competition for attention in New Hampshire Sunday night. He told supporters as he showed up at a viewing party following the debate, “I don’t want to interrupt the Yankee-Red Sox game.”

A Man who understands priorities and the things that are really important; Cool - he's got my vote...

PS - I still can't believe the RS allowed the Yankees to win. It was A Rod's tiebreaking homer in the ninth that finished it. The funniest moment? - As the Yankees blew a four-run lead in the fifth, Red Sox fans were chanting "Where is Roger?" laugh.gif

Of course A-Rod played the role of hero last night. He's been doing that in an otherwise dismal season for the Yankees.

And yes, Obama recognized the grave importance of interrupting a bloodfeud the likes of which cannot be rivaled in politics, the Yankees-Red Sox rivalry.

No. But, I've gotta say there's been an explosion of Red Sox regalia seen on people out here since they won the Series.

All the closet Bostonians have suddenly come out.

There's a reason they call it Red Sox Nation, it stretches further than the Northeast/MidAtlantic
