I've followed his career closely as we shared the same last name and I've always been a huge Big Ten football fan!
He will be missed by many.

That's sad. That's two active Big 10 coaches that have passes away during the last two years. The Hoosiers were making progress on the field too. IU won 3 Big 10 games last season and had most of their starters coming back.

I was shocked and disappointed at this news too. As an IU alum, it was really sad as he seemed a very decent guy who worked hard, and was making real progress with the program. I don't think anyone knew how bad his tumor(s) really were. Very sad day for all hoosier fans. Thoughts are with his family and players.
