Hi everyone.
I'm looking for a pitcher who knows how to throw an arc with a softball for strikes and is looking for a team to play on in the New York/New Jersey/Long Island area this spring. I am not concerned about your hitting. Your ability to throw strikes and pitch with poise is what is most important. Please reply or send me a private message and I'll get back to you with more info.

I pitched in a league for two years in the mid-80s. I was pretty damn good, too, if I may say so myself. If I were in NYC I'd have to consider a comeback. wink

Joe, if I may ask, why have you been wasting your talent by not pitching for the past 15+ years. I know there are softball leagues including an established gay league in Philly right?

The gay league was the one I was in, and there was a problem with the coach (long story) and I just didn't return after that. Now the fields where they play aren't really accessible to public transit, and I'm not in the best of shape at any rate.
