I was reading the article but when I saw Daniel Snyder ranked fifth I lost interest.

True, and Ralph Wilson at #30 is an absolute joke as well. While never a big name amongst the owners, he's never done anything that would merit such a low ranking either. One of only two surviving members of the AFL's "foolish club" has no business being near the bottom.

Since the Lions have not one the Super Bowl in 50 years, there is one owner who definitely should be at the bottom of that list.William Clay Ford.(it wasn't even called the Super Bowl back then rolleyes.gif )

Well I'm thinking the rankings are based on the here and now. Wilson may have been a terrific owner for a long time, but his decision making recently has been befuddling to say the least. Maybe he doesn't desrve to be ranked in the bottom 3 but he has driven the franchise into the ground with his penny-pinching ways.

Snyder at #5 is ridiculous. He throws money around with zero return. That sounds like pretty bad management/ownership to me. And the Texans at #7? Really???

I also would have thought the Giants, Broncos and Colts would have been higher.

I certainly think that Dan Rooney (and son Art Rooney II) deserve to be higher than Damniel Snyder. The Rooneys were extremely loyal to Bill Cowher, even when the public stupidly called for his dismissal. Their patience was rewarded with a fifth Super Bowl ring. For the most part, they make intelligent personnel moves and refuse to sign their players to excruciatingly long contracts. I guess SI must have factored in greed as a basis for ranking dry.gif .

Rankings look good to me.

While Donahoe was GM Wilson had little to do with the team (that's something I'd maybe blame him for). Last season he got rid of a couple of expensive players who have done nothing spectacular afterwards. This offseason he spent big on the offense line. Nate Clements was lost but hardly due to penny pinching.

Apart from that he seems to do what a small market team needs to do to survive.

Besides, last season wasn't really bad: 7-9 against the strongest schedule in the NFL. That's not what I'd call driven into the ground.

The NFL is primarily a business, and the Redskins are the most successful business in the NFL.

Well yes, but The most successful? blink.gif very arguable.

Kraft is certainly one of the most popular and powerful owners, and deserves the no 1 position for all the hard work. But the list doesn't take into account how mean spirited, nasty, and UNIVERSALLY HATED Tom Benson is in Louisianna; easily deserving of last place. In between... highs, lows, hit, miss, not a bad list as subjective lists go...

INTERESTED IN LEARNING WHO THE WORST NFL OWNER IS???

I HATE DAN SNYDER. I arrived at FedEx field this morning at 9:30am and was ready to set up my grill and tailgate. However, Dan Snyder decided that he was going to close off ALL parking areas surrounding the stadium and redirect all traffic to the opposite side of the stadium and MUCH farther of a walk. The place we USED TO PARK was off ARENA Drive, next to Jericho Church. Unfortunately, this parking is no longer available!!! Instead of being able park at 9:30am when we arrived, we were forced to drive completely around the stadium at a snails pace and didn't end up being allowed to park until 11am, 1.5 hours AFTER we pulled INTO the stadium!!!!! I am selling my season tickets tomorrow, F DAN SNYDER!!! GREEDY BASTARD!!!
