I would be very curious to hear how the Tournament is covered (if at all) by the mainstream press in London. Any London Outsporters like to volunteer to keep us posted on that aspect?

Congrats to the San Francisco Fog...they were just amazing, as were the Sydney Convicts.

Hi, I just posted our story and photos. We had a writer there. Read about the French team getting booted for assaulting a woman ref.

Enjoyed the story, although it was brief. And the photos are nice but are missing the obligatory winners butt shot.

The story was "brief?" It ran 1,300 words, the length of a decent-size newspaper story.

Great story. Heartwarming photos. Tough about the controversy, but anyone who has visited France or almost any other major "old European" country and expressed opposition to our current foreign policy should not be surprised if the Bingham Affair had some political overtones. The outpouring of frustration in Europe, and especially among the French, over how they and others were ignored is deeper than the average US citizen probably realizes. My partner has experienced it first hand and he is not American.
