When I was in hs growing up (way back when) there was a local LA punk band named Black Flag that I liked. Well I always thought--& still do quite frankly--that their lead singer Henry Rollins was/is one
hawt dude. Today he's a dj for an alt rock station here in LA & has done lots of other types of media gigs. But his biggest asset would be his outspokenness against homophobia (he's straight however, darn!).

And here are some quotes about homophobia:
QUOTE
On this last subject, Rollins deals with "the gay thing" as an intelligent straight man. Through flaming lines, he throws to his mainly heterosexual audience some comments about homophobia that no one can get away with: "Every man here is into parking his peepee in a nice tight hot spot, moving it around and ejaculating like f**king God, like the fourth Zeppelin album..." He elaborates his theory of the zero-bullshit situation of being among men only: "All you would hear is the sound of belt buckles hitting the floor...". Even if some of his views on homosexuality are very cliché, the message is clearly and strongly that homophobia towards gays, lesbians and bisexuals is as unacceptable as racism.
And it is a pleasure to hear the audience reacts with cheers and laughs to his speech.
QUOTE
Rollins on homophobia: “I don’t understand how you can get to that mentality. Why do some people get tripped up on what I think is the most entry-level obstacle? Homosexuals have a problem? No, they don’t have a problem. They have a problem with dumb motherf**kers who can’t climb a curb that high.”
