And I loved last night's episode, especially the milkshake part. My partner and I were dying through that entire sequence.

That's correct -- my comment about the writers' strike referred to the Lohan item. Since she's not signed to a deal yet, and since no writing is going on due to the strike, it's possible she'll go have another drunken, drugged meltdown and the producers will wake up and drop that idea.
The moment I heard Amanda's "la la, la la laa" I knew what was coming. I was practically squealing by the end of it, especially with the church organ added.
I'm not sure Cliff will be around long-term. There's just no way he's going to put up with Marc's antics. Unless Marc is actually going to become more mature.

Last night's show was fun! The ice cream and hot fudge on Henry's belly scene, Wilhemina trying to shore up her image by doing photo ops playing guitar and singing to orphans, and of course Betty White's performance. Among other things, she gave props to her gay fans except for a couple of lesbians who insist she and Bea Arthur were lovers.

Gene Simmons -- don't know if he's going to be on or not. There's only one or two more shows left because of the writer's strike.

Any thoughts on Thursday's new "Ugly Betty"? Freddy Rodriguez as Gio was looking good with his new buzz cut. I'm kind of vascillating between him and Henry for Betty. They're both good guys - and gorgeous!
Judith Light also was looking good. And we're seeing Justin grow up before our eyes. His voice is getting deeper.

I think he's doing that "I'm too cool for the world to hide my insecurites" bit and Betty would be perfect for him

Lindsay Lohan on Saturday began work on ABC's Ugly Betty, filming a guest appearance for the May 22 season finale.
Lohan is also said to be booked for as many as five episodes of next season, playing an old, down-on-her-luck pal of Betty's.

I haven't been watching Ugly Betty for a while now, but this Lindsay Lohan news makes me sad. Both in that it's clearly indicative of shark jumping, but also because--why does Hollywood reward bad behavior? There are plently of hard working actors and actresses out there who would like a job, yet unprofessional, druggie, snotty skanks get all the work.

Not the first time, since he didn't know she was behind him. But after that, definitely.
I loved Justin's line that the coach would make him "quarterback of the hockey team or something."

Justin in those green short shorts and the white socks pulled up to his knee with the legs crossed tonight was funny. I am in Baltimore this weekend for the Preakness Stakes and my mother is staying with my boyfriend and I. Justin came on screen with that get up and his legs crossed and my mother said "is there any doubt that child is gay?" I'm like...duh mom.
Meanwhile...Eddie Cibrian's ass is just beautiful. The first time I noticed it was in the movie Living Out Loud with Queen Latifah when he was in those white boxer briefs. Lord have mercy. Tonight he had his pants in his pocket and turned to the side and all you saw was a badoonka donk. That boy got ghetto booty and it is delicious. I know they made him have his hands in his pockets on purpose for that shot, and I thank them for it.

Freddy Rodriguez has turned very hot. I liked him in Six Feet Under but I'm loving the short haircut on Betty, and he looks like he's dropped about 10 years in age now. I still don't know how old his character of Gio is supposed to be on Ugly Betty.

I assume that's a setup for next season since they've signed Lohan for a few episodes. I guess they could change their minds, though.
This year's finale was a bit quieter than last year's. Still entertaining, though. I could've done without the softball game. And couldn't they fit more than four of Madonna's new songs into the show (not to mention "Jump" at the end)?
So...did Betty choose Henry, Gio or neither?

I loved the
softball game and the digs at Naomi Campbell (note how everybody ducks when she whips out her cell phone), although I wanted to see Eric Mabius pitching (or catching, or doing anything with his bat).
I used to like Henry, he was a cute nerd, but now he seems like such a bore. Gio is so much better.
And when they showed Eddie Cibrian shirtless

, I said aloud "Thank you, producers of Ugly Betty."

Agreed on all counts. The softball game was hilarious. Esp Mark and Amanda cheering. And yes, Gio (he was way hotter as El Wray in Planet Terror/Grindhouse) has proved to be a far more interesting character than Henry. Somehow I don't think Betty has chosen between them, yet.

At the end she packed a bag or bags and said goodbye to her family, and then they showed an airplane flying off, and so we assume she was on it. But whether she flew to Tucson to be with Henry, or whether she flew to Rome with Gio, or just took a trip by herself...that's the question.
