WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Karl Rove, a political adviser to President George W. Bush and a lightning rod for anger among Democrats, will leave the White House at the end of this month, Rove told the Wall Street Journal.
"I just think it's time," Rove said in an interview with the newspaper published on Monday.
"There's always something that can keep you here, and as much as I'd like to be here, I've got to do this for the sake of my family."

Probably feels the heat from some of the ongoing investiagtions going on, and thought he would beat the rush....couldn't have come soon enough in my opinion.

Too little, too late. He's still going to go through congressional subpoenas like a baby goes through diapers. I hope he gets what's coming to him!

Karl Rove is a truly evil person. This whole Bush administration has been one of deception, greed and mayhem.

Maybe he could do us all a favor and go on a walking tour, without military protection, of Iraq. Okay, not fair. He should have a companion with him: Dick Cheney.
