Try the Local Groups page here on Outsports ... if there's nothing in KC yet, try contacting a club or team elsewhere and see if they've had other inquiries.

You should contact IGLA (Intl Gay/Lesbian Aquatics) to see if they have had any other contacts from KC, or can put the word out there to see if others on the teams already in existence have friends in KC who might also want to join a WP team. Start with heir website, and see if they could include a blurb in the WetNotes newsletter.

Another source would be to contact USWP to see if there are ANY masters wp teams in KC - gay or other. It would be a good way to hone your skills, which makes you more of an asset as a 'free agent' in case you plan to attend the IGLA championships and be assigned to one of the teams that needs addtl players to fill out tehir roster. Also a great way to get to know wp players from other cities/countries within the lgbt aquatic community.
