Hey guys, I know this is a longshot, but I was wondering if there were any guys from Montana that read these discussion boards. I checked the clubhouse and there are only 2 members posted there for the entire state, but then again I haven't taken the time to get my profile on there yet myself. So, I thought maybe there were others here in Montana that may just come here to read the posts and enjoy the interaction between other guys interested in sports. The funny thing is, until I found this site I never even liked sports, now I've caught the sports bug.

Hey, thanks for the reply, if I ever get over to Spokane I'll have to look you up. I have some friends that went over there and said they had a great time.

Though I no longer live in Montana, it is a great place and I have seen a references to MT here and there. Best of luck.

Oh, and by the way,

GO GRIZ

Hey Swanny,
Thanks for the reply. It's nice to know that someone in this world knows something about Montana! Are you going to watch the Cat/Griz game on the 17th? Should be pretty good. I'm going to go to the first quarter at least. The sad thing is, my friend is getting married at 3:00 that day in Bozeman, so I'll be wearing a tux to the Tailgate, then sitting in a church through the second half of the game. Again, thanks for the reply. biggrin.gif

I am going to try to find the game - living in a small CA town has its disadvantages.

Why would anyone, regardless of whether or not they like the game of football, get married in Bozeman on same day as the Cat/Griz game? Will anyone show up?

Have Fun!

If my friend had his way, I think they would be doing it another day, but he's so whipped by his fience that he's going along with it. I think they figure that they can get people who are already going to be in town to show up anyway. Personally, I have to usher, and I don't know what kind of shape I'll be in by the time the wedding starts. You know how those Cat/Griz Tailgates go! LOL Have fun in Cali!
I dont' know if you realize it, but the MSU alumni foundation and I think the Griz one puts togeather football parties for alums all over the US. You may check out their website and see if they are having one near you. I think they usually do. They even pay to have the game broadcast at certain bars around the US so us montanans can get togeather everynow and then, regardless of if your are a cat or a griz.

Montana is a huge beautiful state for those of you who have never been there. They don't call it Big Sky Country for nuthin. I alomost moved to Missoula many years ago, but didn't. It does get kinda cold there in the winter though doesn't it MSU??
Friendly people though. One of our local weather guys here in Spokane is originally from Bozeman, and I am secretly lusting after him. Big tall blonde swede. Oh my.

Classic...I can just see the bride and groom now -- cute little blonde with an off-the-shoulder number and a short veil hauling off on the big lug of a guy standing next to her secretly listening to the game in his earpiece, while the drunken gay usher cops a feel from her bachelor uncle...am I right?

Welcome, MSUBobcat! I hope to see Big Sky country someday myself. smile.gif
