Ellen has been so bland, neutral, and even avoidant (is that a word?) on this subject. It was sort of sad after her wonderful "Puppy (Coming Out) Episode." But I guess since her show has done so well, she has finally started to show her true stuff. She talks about Porshe and being partner, and has shown clips of them holding hands in public. zzzz I know. But it's a start. She has an amazingly large following of people, gay and nongay, who just love her. She can do so much for us, by letting everyone see how she is. And she really is a sweetie. Who wouldn't love her, and then they'd have to say they loved a gay person.

She has been more direct in stating her opinions relating to sexuality than she once was (on the show). Her recent interview with Neil Patrick Harris focused on how nice it will be for him to be able to walk into the Emmys with his lover this time around and how she has appreciated how her partners presence is expected these days. There was another recent show where she spoke of gay people's experiences in talking about the importance of supporting all people in being who they are. (and also last season's Knight interview).
