James is HOT! Jean-Robert and Frosti are cute. And they've even got a chicken farmer name Chicken, a Christian talk show host, and a gay Mormon flight attendant. Why not?

James has an absurd body. ABSURD.
Erik has a beautiful face, gorgeous eyes...
osufan
I think Todd the flight attendant is so cute !!

Have a feeling he'll be all nice at the start and later be very cut-throat.
Texas Daytripper
Aaron was representin' - my pick to go home early or win it all.

OMG, seems like all the guys were wearing boxer briefs.

i am lovin' this season already.
theodoresdaddy
are there any straight guys on this season, except for maybe the poker player

but I did think that the lunch lady was a lesbian (say that fast three times) but she's married to a man
Rob
I was checking the photos on the CBS website from Survivor and check out this shot of Eric:

Eric's Package

I can't believe no one at CBS realized how revealing this shot is.

Here's another equally hot:

I've just got to get baggier shorts
osufan
Rob, they did put some fuzzy screen over his package during the broadcast ! thanks for the link

I've seen the poker player on ESPN. What they hell was he thinking wearing those jeans? NOT CUTE dude, NOT CUTE. I like him much better at his job vs. on Survivor. He's exactly the kind of contestant - just like the female wrestler - who annoys me the most.

jean-robert is great on the poker shows, but is extremely annoying to the other players. haven't seen this year's survivor yet, but i'm curious to see how he comes off on it.

OMG...James' body is like SPLA-KOW!!!! Those boxer briefs sure were fitting him nice and snug. Amazing body. The flight attendant is sort of cute. Frosti is cute. Jean Robert has an ass like a woman. Good lord its big. But, big is good when it comes to ass...IMHO. tongue.gif

Thank god the man from Virginia went home because I couldn't understand what he was saying. I was going to have to resort to subtitles to understand that southern drawl he has. I was glad to see him go. That indifferent attitude just isn't going to get you anywhere.

You know you made me laugh out loud, Mdterp! Plus I love seeing Serena's face every time I read your posts.

Another good show tonight. lots of eye candy. damn AARON looks hot. especially when he strolled up wearing his dress shirt and whatever shorts he has on. Nice shots of the guys semi-mud wrestling. Can't wait to see the unblurred caps.

First things first: very direct shot of Aaron's package tonight, I was actually confused and then startled. Dudes, how did this get by the network suits??? I mean, the camera was basically shooting right at his junks. Crazy...

The challenges were awesome tonight. Well, except for Dave getting naked. That was gross. But the first challenge was very physical and it was awesome to see how much the contestants wanted it. I was kinda hoping Frosti would compete larger than his stature, and he actually kinda did.

The second challenge was an interesting iteration of previous competitions, or so it seemed, and another good showcase for the contestants' intensity (or even ferocity). Also suprised by the small but noticeable stylization at the elimination challenge with the short freeze frame when each contestant had to chop down the puzzle pieces. Nice touch.

I'm really liking this season, but a bit dissapointed that James is an ass, after all... (but at least not as big of a douche-tard as John Robert).

I didn't get a chance to see it yet, but I heard the spoilers (which have been dead on correct to date) were wrong and way off.

I'm loving this season. What with the close up shot of Aaron's package. Is it me, or does Aaron resemble an actor, or someone in the mainstream? His facial expressions remind me of someone, put I can't pin point it.

Dave getting naked was way weird. What was the point? To not have the guys pull on his pants? It appeared mighty painful when he fell hard, on what look like where his junk would be? Ouch.

How disgusting was it to see Lunch Lady (her name escapes me) and her cellulite rolls. EWWW, i threw up a little in my mouth.

Let's hope the hunks don't get voted off, any time soon.

Not sure if it's who you're thinking of, but Aaron reminds me of Paul Walker. Either way, he's very hot!
fantomas
James remains slurpalicious. I also think Frostie is getting cuter each week. I'm glad they voted off Dave, but Sherea really better get her act together. I wonder if it's the heat, diet, and so on, that has left some of them so exhausted, like that skinny (anorexic?) blond girl on James's tribe. BTW, was it Jean-Robert (thanks B Man; why do I keep wanting to call him "Jean-Pierre"?) who made the first comment about being attracted to her? He has sexist pig-bear written all over him.
NoLongerHere
John Robert called the scary thin New York gal "a piece of ass"
His behavior was pretty ugly
With the narrative arc they are piecing together for John Robert, I'm worried he's going to be around for a while...

Dave was frickin' wierd and Sherrea backed herself into a bit of a corner: she better really bring it now in challenges, damn it. Hindsight is 20-20, of course, but I wish she would have said bluntly, "Look, we've all asked Dave to be less annoying, and look where that;s gotten us - at least we can work together to figure out a way for me to help out more around camp..."

But she didn't need to sweat it too much, apparently. Let's see what happens next week, though...
Rick62
The most frustrating part of watching this show is that it seems like the survivors do not learn from past seasons. If you take too much of a leadership role too early, then you are a big target. If you do not pull your weight at camp, then you become a big target. I am glad that Dave is gone, but I feel that Sherea acted horrible about the sea shells with Dave. Why would she want to get rid of them when he told her that he was saving them for his Mom? What business was it of hers anyways? Ok, new favorites are Aaron, Erik and Todd!!
Texas Daytripper
Again, another hottie gone before it's time. I HATE THIS !!!! Why did it have to be Aaron? I know this will answer that question. He was a good, strong player. He had no conflicts with anyone. And how HOT did he look in his underwear?

I hated the twist tonight. I know why they shook up the tribes but WTF. I didn't like it. What's wrong with one tribe dominating another? That's how it's always been.

And when did the survivors get new swimsuits? Did they all win a reward challenge and get a free bathing suit. Does this mean no more underwear shots. Damn it. I loved Aaron's new suit. Where can I get mine? LOL
NoLongerHere
How incredibly dumb to admit to throwing a challenge. If you were worried about someone's loyalties after the merge, don't throw a challenge and don't lie to the contestants you're trying to enlist. Argh! They would have been better served winning and counting on Sherea getting voted off, anticipating she'd be the less loyal of the two they lost...

...speaking of which, I was shocked they didn't anticipate that two of their tribe would be swapped. The Survivors never cease to suprise me.
Rick62
I was very disappointed in the twist and turns of last night's episode. It was very unfair to both Aaron and James or whomever would have went to the tribe with only 5 players. It automatically put them in a vulnerable situation. I just did not like the way the girls threw the competition. I hope they do not merge at 10, but merge when there is only 1 member left of that tribe. I still think Eric is hot though!! Go Todd!
fantomas
The short-staffed team had no chance, especially with the two women throwing the competition, but I was actually glad that Aaron got sent home after he voted against his former teammate. What was he thinking, the jerk? Gorgeous James didn't turn against him, yet at the drop of a hat he turned against James. And lo, who did those women engineer out of the game? Aaron! Brilliant work, idiot. Please remix the teams again next week, so that James doesn't have to get picked off by that lousy trio. I keep thinking Jean-Robert is going to get canned, but he's lucky enough to be on the winning teams for the most part.
Rick62
I don't think Aaron had a choice about voting against James. His rationale was that it was either him or James going. He did not want to vote either of the girls in case he was not voted out. He felt that he had a week to see if he could change their minds, but I don't think it would have been realistic. I hope those two don't get 'saved' by a merge. I hope they throw the next one and then have to go back to camp and wait another week until there is another challenge and they get pummeled. I hope it is a physical challenge too because they would have no chance! I am actually hoping that James will throw the rewards challenge and it is something the other 3 would really want.
The-Ultimate
I have liked this season, but its started to turn from a bunch of hotties to a bunch of middle/high schoolers meddling it out for both tribes in a very childish dramatic fashion. It'll be interesting to see how it shakes out over the next few weeks.

I'm really rooting for Todd, as I'm sure most people on this site are. Although it still appears that he has respect of tribemates, it also seems like that there is a strong possibility that he might be only be around for a few more votes, depending on who maintains power after the merge.

Did you guys see how long Frosti's tongue was in the eating challenge? Geesh. :-)

Ouch!
Only 10 minutes into the show... wondering how this will work out...

And, DAMN, this bitch just went thru James's bag to find his immunity idols?!?
THAT SUCKS...

Totally clueless and almost a bit anxious to know how this will all work out...

I missed the last 1/2 of Survivor last night....did Jamie try to play the fake immunity idol??
mdterp01
Yes she did. They all voted and right before Jeff was going to read the votes she broke out what she thought was the idol and Jeff was like "unfortunately, this is not it". It was hilarious. James' expression of laughter was hilarious!! You could even tell Jeff was trying to keep from laughing. She got PLAYED!!! The look on her face was the best of all, particularly when they booted her a$$ from the show!!!! That was hilarious!!!

Oooh, thanks for the update mdterp. I'll have to catch the 2nd half on Comcast On-Demand, sounds good. I thought I liked Jamie at first, but the way she handled herself after they threw that challenge, and then going through James bag...she needed to GO!

I'm sure James loved every moment of that TC though .. LOL. I am in LUST with James, SO HOT!

**I tried to 'Google Image' shirtless pics of James, they just don't seem to exist. sad.gif

Go to the Survivor China site. They have shirtless pix of James, including some with him in his skivvies. I missed the episode where he was in a shower or something like that. But I can't take my eyes off him, and I love that country way he talks. HOOOOTTTTT!!!!!!!

I keep hoping he and Frosty will hook up, but that doesn't seem likely. Frosty appears to be very into that emaciated blond chick. For a while I thought James was going to get him some PG, but that appeared to be more editing than anything else.

FINALLY! Some action at Tribal Council!!! Hells Yeah! We finally get the big shake up/mix up in votes we've yearned for since the days of Rupert and Johnny Fairplay ...
fantomas
Whew! That was a close one. I'm glad Mr. Slob-noxious was voted off. Too bad, though, that PG and the others on her crew were played like that by Todd. Somebody named James is not going to be happy.

You know, I was almost sad John Robert got the boot. I loved the way he called out James. There was a Western-like quality about it. Except they were two dudes in the water, in China. They could have just as easily been two dudes on horseback, in the dessert.

James was registering look of shock and "ohhh shit..." while Todd could barely contain himself. Classic pulpy addictive reality tv. Can't wait til next week.

Was no one else surprised that the extremely cute little Frosti got voted off last night? He was getting cuter by the day. And now he's gone. That aneroxic thing he was hot for called him a "Munchkin," which I hope he sees, and he really sold himself short in the hotness category; she was out of his league. So long, Frosti! I hope the next to go is P.G.
NoLongerHere
I might have to stop watching this show. Eric's shorts keep riding sooooo low I get really bothered. For a skinny dude, he IS beautiful. And James. It's just not right. That body doesn't seem possible, really... Interesting the past few weeks to see his weaknesses: skill challenges don't seem to be his thing. But endurance and strength, hells yeah.

I'm tempted to believe James will be on the next All Stars, if they do one, he'll show up shirtless in People, and he'll be a new reality star in general. He can stand to make millions even if he doesn't win Survivor. The only snag: how many ways/how long can producers, photographers, filmmakers, et al. keep him shirtless?!? Hopefully some creative minds will think of something...
The-Ultimate
Looking fwd to tomorrow night's episode. Its been a long two weeks, but last we had left them, the tribe was not finished at tribal council. Another vote? Who knows....

I clicked over after the football game. James lost immunity, went to Tribal Council with both idols ...and played neither. James voted out!

WHA???!?

A smart bold move, for sure, I'm just going to miss James, and I have to say I am disappointed in him for not playing one of the immunity idols. In his parting comments, even he admitted he should have played an idol...
Rick62
I was disappointed that they blind sided James, but I understand why they did it. I use to like Amanda, but after blindsiding James and next weeks coming attractions, I am not sure if I do anymore. James was pure class when discussing his eviction last night. I am starting to like Denise more. Eric is so cute. PG has to go---SOON!!!

Disappointing result - Todd wins.

I don't get why people harshed on Amanda so much ...I'd say it was sexist, but, I dunno, kinda came across like misplaced aggression or transference or projection or something.

I would have preferred Courtney or Amanda as winners, and really, REALLY dislike Todd. He's kinda bitchy, and grossly so. And the constant rewarding of lying. Groan.
mdterp01
I despised Todd until the juror confronted the final 3 at the final tribal council. Todd was straight up and honest and didn't answer around questions the way that Amanda and Courtney did. Look...this is Survivor. This is not the first season where people don't know what to expect. You can't go on Survivor and expect that there won't be some backstabbing going on. James took it in stride because he obviously knew it was part of the game I mean if you're going to be up on a soapbox preaching about honesty is the best policy, this is NOT the show for you. Your billionaires and Fortune 500 companies did not get to where they are without burning some bridges and backstabbing some people. Thats just the reality of life. People are going to lie when money is at stake. Outwit, Outplay, Outlast. This is a game in which only one person can win $1 millon dollars. Todd made it clear that there was a difference in his gameplay as opposed to the true relationships he built in the show. Todd did what he did and he was a deserving winner in the end in my opinion.

I'm glad James got the $100,000 and even though Denise's "woe is me" tale got on my nerves by the end of the night, I'm glad Mark Burnett is giving her $50,000 since she got demoted from lunch lady to janitor because of her time off to do Survivor. Next season's half all star survivor vs newbies should be interesting, and the location of Micronesia is one I am looking forward to.
dfwAggie99
Yeah, congrats to Denise for the $50K she was given, but her pity party was beyond annoying. I mean, come on! Yes, I understand that she "sucks at life"... wink.gif but that doesn't mean she deserved the money and not Todd. I loved how Todd played the game. He was consistent in his lying, backstabbing, etc. from the beginning. Denise decided to align with Todd until the end and it got her booted. Tough sh!t. Just because you have a family and work for $7/hour (and apparently not happy with your life), doesn't mean you get the money over other people.

The greater need for the money means nothing in Survivor...
kick
I think Todd had the most solid, composed Final Tribal Council of any contestant from recent memory. I honestly believe that he would not have won without the Final Tribal Council. I think either Amanda or Courtney would have won if he even wavered in the slightest with some of the questions.

I like James' response to having been voted out without using his immunity idols quite terrifically. I love that he can smile and just have so much fun right now- but during the game he sure had his bitchy moments.

Denise needs to use the $50,000 for a reasonably priced hair/makeup/wardrobe makeover for her hubby. She has potential to be reasonably pretty for him....

I am ambivalent about Courtney- I hated her in the beginning, but I love her honesty- "I hate kids" was so funny last night- sad, but funny. I don't think she is very attractive. She looked better with her hair pulled up.

Todd is very cute and I liked him until he was interviewed after he won. He seemed to get a bit too cocky. I hope that his youth permits him to do some good with the money instead of squandering it- and he desperately needs to get his hair cut!! His hair was looking like a Denise knockoff.

I really like Jean-Robert. I hate that I am actually attracted to him and his arrogance LOL

I don't buy the hottie Erik "Aww shucks, I am a virgin" thing. He seems ultra nice and too good to be true! I really hope that is true, but I don't think Jamie is a good match for him. I think J.P. from 2 seasons ago would be a perfect match for him and may explain why he is still a virgin. smile.gif
Bryan
The final three were so uninspiring. I think Todd won because it was one of the dumbest final six or seven contestants in the history of the show. Not having James, who was very funny in my opinion and of course glorious to look at, or Eric, who was at least nice to look at, in the final four or five took all the steam out of it. Todd was actually the simple one, who focused on bullshitting and backstabbing from moment one without guilt...he snowed the women totally...for a while. Denise was barfable at the end, another whiny victim...cut the hair! Amanda's apologetic eyes said she was in way over her head...and Courtney just lucked out though she was pretty funny at times.

I hope the next season finally ends the trend of getting rid of the hot guys early...it sucks.

It would seem that the mullet-wearing lunch lady wasn't exactly honest when whining about her job. From TV Guide online:

QUOTE
The school system for which Survivor: China contender Denise Martin works was dealt their own chef's suprise when on Sunday's reunion show the "lunch lady" claimed she was demoted from her job upon completing the reality competition. "This statement is false," says the superintendent for Douglas (Mass.) Public Schools. "In fact, Mrs. Martin held a full-time position as a custodian" — a promotion for which Denise applied and got — "prior to her participation in the series, and she returned to this same position upon her return. We were pleased and excited to support Denise, and have enthusiastically cheered her on. Regretfully, the Douglas Public School District was inaccurately portrayed as failing to be accommodating to an employee.... This is far from the case."

And here is a link to an interview she did on CBS Morning Show:
