Any Outsporters play in the BASL? Anyone going to tryout for the upcoming season? I am going to the tryout this Saturday. I'm rejoining the league after "retiring" after the 1995 season due to an injury. I am way worried about not being good anymore!!! I used to play shortstop for my team, but I don't think I'll be up to that.

Well I made a team! Of course the fact is that EVERYONE makes a team, so its not any great feat. I did have a pretty good tryout though. We have our first practice this Saturday. Are there any other Outsports members who play BASL?

Well we are off to a 2-1 start. Not too bad. Our defense needs a little shoring up, but we hit the ball really well. And the guys are alot of fun. I've moved around, playing shortstop, right centerfield and DH.

I played for the BASL for one season...two years ago...it was a great experience... I didn't want to commit to a second season...(I wasn't that good to begin with) but it's a super league!

Well we finished our season today by winning our division championship series 2 games to 0. It was a really fun season. I met a bunch of nice guys, played well and won a championship. All in all, a good season!!!

Now its off to Montreal for a fun tournament over Labor Day weekend. Should be a blast!
