It's to dive into the season...

MSU has a title hangover it looks like after getting pounded in their first game of the season...

Yes its that time again for hockey season. This time after 8.5 years w/UAH, I'll be looking from the outside instead of being on the inside. As what happens with most coaching changeovers, a whole new staff is brought in. Or in this case letting go of all of the staff and bringing in a kid, who doesn't even know how to do the job. So I wish the players I know, the best of luck and health and hope they succeed when they turn pro.

If anyone needs me to spy, I'm now available. Burkholder, Serratore, Schooley, I'm at your disposal wink.gif

If anyone has any questions, I'll be happy to answer them.

Spartans picked it up this weekend, but those Gophers... what happened?

ND had a good start as has Wisc and North Dakota.

Will be a good season

Interesting changes in the top - Minn get's knocked down to size to #10 - not a big suprize, but Mich up to number 3, MSU to #8 and UMD on the board at 17 - not even ranked coming into the season. Good to see the bulldogs might be up to something this year.

Looks to be an interesting weekend of games.

Miami - wow. They are just leaving the CCHA and the rest of the leagues in their wake! NDU and MI staying put. It will be interesting to see any other teams will be able to break in. Those below keep shifting around, but we will see.

What's up with Notre Dame? I was hoping to see more from them after last season's Cinderella season. I guess it is rebuilding year, yet the talent is there. Good to see the Gophers coming around again. They have had a few injuries early that are hurting them. and UMD! Great to have them back and consistant.

I take it from the great discussion here, that I seem to be one of the only people here intrested in college hockey.

Not to worry, I will not give up. It is early in the season.

I love college hockey too Rick, but you have to admit, late October -early November is a very heavy time for sports, so sometimes college hockey gets put on the back burner!

The other March Madness is about to begin.

Frozen Four brackets are all set. Michigan-Notre Dame and BC-NoDak. Would that it only be so that Michigan and Notre Dame could both lose....haha
Headed off to Denver next week for the annual Frozen Four trip. Should be a great time with some great hockey.

My pick? BC over Michigan in the Final....But I am often wrong! rolleyes.gif

MiamiSpartan
Congrats to BC on FINALLY winning the NCAA Hockey title after coming oh-so-close the past two years...
(Boy was last year's title game ever amazing.... GO GREEN!)
Plus, I was just happy that michigan or notre dame didn't win! tongue.gif
