We're actually heading over to Helio's house tomorrow nite to watch the show with his fiance, since she's unable to make the trip west this week....

Wow, MiamiSpartan, I hope your friend realizes just how bleepin' lucky she is!! No matter how bewitched we superficial gay boys can get with looks, in the end personality really does matter more. Mind you, Helio is pretty damn easy on the eyes to start with, but his personality, OMG ... that puckish charm, that fun-loving spirit, and more than anything, that smile that lights up the whole room. I guess Cameron, the soap guy, and Albert, the Ken Doll, I mean, model, would be considered by most to be better looking, but forget them! Helio's the sheeeyat!

oh, the dancing, right ... the guy is also the best dancer, hands down! That mambo he did tonight was absolutely fantastic. Of course, it helps that he has a partner who not only is a terrific dancer, but probably the best choreographer as well. The turns, the passes, the grip/hand changes, everything was simply fantastic. And of course, Helio had the verve and panache to really make us believe it.

Please oh please let Wayne Newton be euthanized tonight. The guy is way too old (the man sweats formaldehyde), way too fat, and all the plastic surgery and botox make him look downright scary. He's just so pathetic.

I'll have to say I'm in Helio's camp as well. He's so much fun to watch. On the women's side...I'm rooting for Mel and Maks. Maks is an impish hottie and Mel has such a fun playful spirit.

OK, maybe Albert wasn't the best, but he was OK and showed potential to improve. Wayne Newton, on the other hand, is the most pathetic thing I've ever seen on this show. Yet who gets to stay?? Craptastic! I'm convinced there are a voting bloc out there who gets sadistic pleasure from seeing the truly awful continue on, week after painful week. Well, thank God for Tivo, so I can fast-forward through Mr. Sweats Formaldehyde's performances while watching Helio over and over and over again.

With both models already gone, I think it's difficult to do well on the show if you're mediocre and don't have an established fan base. Hopefully Wayne will go next. Or Cuban.

This is the first time I've really watched this show. Glad the Ambercrombie guy is gone and glad Newton is out. Abercrombie boy didn't have enough of a fan base, even though he wasn't the worst dancer. He wasn't all that to me anyway. Never really been into the whole "all American look" thing. What are "All American looks" anyway. Anywho...of all the "stars", I had no idea who Albert Reed was. Wayne Newton? Kudos for trying his thing at his age but seriously...just not good. I like Helio and love Jane Seymour.

I'm not really into race car driving but will admit that "Dancing with the Stars" is a guilty pleasure of mine. I watched Helio Castroneves samba last night. What a cute little butt. Very sexy is you ask me...

I hope Helio will make it to the final. Because he was the first to dance yesterday, I am a bit worried about the votes. Last week Sabrina was the first to dance and was eliminated. I hope Helio has a big enough fan (male and female) base.

I AM TOTALLY ROOTING FOR MAKSIM AND MEL. BUT MY FAV DANCER ON THE SHOW IS JON ROBERTS. HE IS FREAKING HAWT!

Roberts is hot and I was surprise when his wife made an appereance.

I know I was incredibly surprised as well. I mean his overall actions and expressions are oh so stereotypically gay. No matter, at least he makes himself accessible. . He is what I would call classically handsome. I adored the scenes from last season of him getting his chest hairs waxed off in preparation for the samba when he was paired with Heather Mills. YUM!

Roberts still makes my gaydar tingle...

As much as I like Helio,I'm sorry to say the wrong person won.Mel deserved to win,without question.I need to stop watching shows where the viewers vote because it makes my blood pressure go up.

Totally agree, just eddie, Mel B definitely deserved to win. But it seems jocks have a big advantage on this show. I thought Mario Lopez was better than Emmit Smith, and without a doubt Stacy Kiebler was FAR better than Jerry Rice (at least the deserving Drew Lachey won it that season). Jock advantage aside, Apollo Anton Ono was a very deserving champion. And even if Helio wasn't the best technical dancer, his personality and charisma totally lit up the stage and fired up the audience.

I'm very happy that Sabrina started dating her partner Mark Ballas. Hey, I'd suffer through getting booted from the show (far too soon!) if I had him as a "consolation prize."

I think the problem is that everyone knows Mel dances in her show. It's not remotely close to ballroom but the basic knowledge of rhythm and music is there. I think it appears to everyone that Helio came from a place so foreign to ballroom that it looks like he came much farther during the season. I was sad that Mel and Maks didn't win but I'm prefectly fine with Helio. I'm SO glad Marie was eliminated first.

I thought Helio deserved to win and was glad he did. Sure, Mel B was good, but the person who was truly the best this season (Sabrina) was eliminated weeks ago. But does it really matter who wins anyway when the only prize is a mirrored ball trophy?

I thought it was nice to see this All-American dancing show on ABC finish with a Brazilian beating a Brit with entertainment from a Canadian. And who knew Cameron Mathison had such a hot body?

My preference this season would have been for a Mel B and Sabrina finale with Helio in 3rd.

Mel B and Max made such a sexy-ass couple. All that sexual tension was so HOT!

I do like Helio- but whenever he smiles or gets excited all I can think of is Roberto Benigni at the Oscars when he won for Best Actor and was standing up on the seats.

Kick... that is SO funny because I thought of the same thing when Helio smiles. Every time I saw him I can only think of Sophia Loren screaming "ROBERTO!!!!" and him getting up with that big cheese grin and actin a fool.

As for the finale, I was pulling for Mel and Maks but I was not disappointed with Helio. Both deserved it even though I think Mel was technically better by just a hair. But, Helio had the audience. After Sabrina was eliminated I was pretty much like whatever. That was a travesty. Marie Osmond in the top 3? Whatever!! But damn...that Maks is surely hot. Cameron is one of those chiseled looking Ken dolls that I'm so not into but he's got a nice ass.

I think Mel & Max should have won - but Helio was a close second -I'm just glad Marie didn't win - just on popularity and fan base.

Max is good looking, yeah. But he doesn't do anything for me either. How tall is he, by the way? I've never been into lanky guys who are all legs (though he does have a nice ass). And he's way too cocky... in fact, I think he may have contributed to Mel B's lack of votes from the public in the final. I'd also take Helio over him. Helio has an honest, real and genuine quality about him that I love.

By the way, anyone as shocked as I am that Marie's partner is supposedly straight and married?

Okay first of all it's Maks (short for Maksim) and second of all I like that you all don't like him so you can leave him for me. I like confident men and I love the way his irises come from the top of his eye instead of the middle like most people. It makes him look like an anime character.

All in all, I thought this season sucked. Seasons 2 and 4 have been the best thus far.

That's fine because I think they are a little too young for me.

LOL- Well, I mean the legal ones- and I wil take on the ones who are from the old Menudo too!! Or at least the ones who have decided to keep in relative good shape (I don't mind a little extra lovin!)

Maksim is good looking and great dancer but he comes across as obnoxious which might be the reason he lost. I got tired of Marie and all tha Osmond drama. Not too crazy about Helio but he won because he was fun to watch.

I'm very happy Helio won. Maybe he is not the greatest dancer but on the last show he had fun and energetic performances.

I found Mel B had a disappointing final. What a strange freestyle. She is a spice girl, I'm sure she could have had a more interesting and entertaining freestyle. It could be the choreographer's fault.

Knowing what I now know about Helio, I should've voted for Sabrina....
