How fitting it's a story from Fixed News.com.

Um, no, it's not. It's from the Times of London. Fox simply ran the Times story on its website.
I'm not a great fan of Fox, or any cable/network news outlet for that matter, but at times the anti-Fox drama borders on the absurd.

It's still on Fixed News and that's good enough for me.

With all due respect, you're just being stupid. Who cares if FOX News ran another newspaper's story? That doesn't take away from what Iran did. I read CNN and FOX and MSNBC's web sites all the time, and I'm not foolish enough to dismiss any particular story just because it appeared on one site. You're sounding like those Republican nuts who think everything on CNN is a plant by Clinton and the Democrats or something.

Matt, I guess I just don't understand your point here. Yes, Fox News and the Times are News Corp outlets, but the article exposes anti-gay hate. It doesn't bury it, excuse it, or ignore it.

Yes, let's get back to the article, which did appear in the conservative TIMES of London, but is still valid information.
What it details is horrifying.
Let's also remember that several allies of the US, including Saudi Arabia, also have DEATH as the penalty for people charged with the "crime" of homosexual sex.
Nigeria, another US ally, has pushed through some of the most draconian anti-gay statutes in the world.
Egypt officially harasses and humiliates gay people, and has arrested and locked up a number of them for years.
Shiite clerics in Iraq have put out fatwas against gays, and gay people in US-occupied Iraq have been kidnapped and brutally killed. To try to live as an out gay person in Iraq in 2007 is to commit suicide.
Yes, Iran is horrible in this regard. But it is not alone. A number of our allies are pretty awful as well.
We need to urge our legislators to put pressure on "allies" to get their acts together. ASAP.
While we're on the subject of the Saudi Arabian "justice" system, isn't this a lovely story:

Did anybody notice that the attackers also raped the man; I guess their prison sentences and possible torture and death penalty sentences sure prevented that.
