Is it just me, or is anyone else having a problem when trying to read the story about the Top Chef / Swimmer dude? It keeps going to the Phil Jackson story.

Click on Dale's pic to get to the interview. And he wasn't a swimmer...he was actually a diver/gymnast. I think with all of the Out 100 appearances our Jim and Cyd have to make they are getting a bit sloppy with the links. tongue.gif

Thanks dude. And you know... diving, swimming... it's all kinda the same haha

The links have now been fixed and we have flogged the perpetrator! tongue.gif

Whoa! Did I just see an and by HRC for gay rights in the military using an image of Barack Obama on the the OS main page, and here as well apparently?

Is that a first for the candidates for presidential nominees, to appear on the Outsports main page?

I think Ahmadinejad also bought an ad when he ran a few years back. tongue.gif

Worked for him, didn't it? I'm sure the gay Iranian vote put him over the edge - you know, the ones who don't exist.

There was an ad featuring Newt Gingrich a while back, though he hasn't declared a candidacy yet. There was a similar HRC ad featuring someone I didn't recognize, which said something like "see what HE thinks of" gays in the military. It might be some Republican for all I know.

Guess I missed both of those ads Joe. Not surprising since I tend to tune-out ads unless my subconcious catches something unusual out of the corner of my mind. (Quirky thing that subconcious.)

By the way, on your blog comments about the Linc not being able to regulate someone selling a t-shirt saying "Romo is a homo", I wonder how long it would take them to find an excuse to regulate someone selling t-shirts saying "So-and-so is a heb" or "the Linc stinks".

Or are those on sale and prominently displayed already?

Is there a little bit of self-serving catering to the bigotedness of some ticket-buying fans involved in tying their hands there?
Cyd at Outsports
HRC has bought some ads to coincide with their 12,000 flags effort.
