Full Version: West Coast Classic Photo Gallery
Just posted three galleries from the recent West Coast Classic gay basketball tourney. Our own BBallRob is pictured, showing some skin. Can you find him? wink
God let's hope noone can find me! What was I thinking, talking to an Outsports photographer with my shirt off! eek!
Thanks so much to Outsports for covering the event, gay basketball isn't as popular as other gay sports like softball, tennis and volleyball, but we do have a very high level of competition and we have a damn good time playing. The top teams have very talented former Div. I players, the semis and finals at these tournaments are very exciting. And the teams with less talent have a great time just competing. It is also lots of fun to hang out with the guys between games. And for spectators, present company excepted there are lots of cute guys to look at. But I must admit that the photographer, Brent Mullins, who by the way is way cute, did show up when many of the guys were changing shirts, we don't normally hang around half naked. At least not in the gym. wink
For anyone who is interested in playing, the next tournament is in Chicago April 17-18, you can go to the Chicago Hoops website, http://www.wcaa.net/basketball/chc13/index_2.htm and get all the information. The heads of the tournament will always find a team for you to play on if you are not already affiliated with a team. And maybe one day we can talk Jim at Outsports into playing, rumor has it he has a pretty good jumpshot.

"Hoopster #5" is Rory Ray, our Web developer, the guy who built the Clubhouse, NFL Pick 'Em, Jock Talk, Picture This, our new Local Groups and Local Events sections and is working on the rest of the site. He scored the championship-winning basket in the game.

That is what I like about those tournaments, everyone is pretty cool and down-to-earth. Rory, #5, who hit the winning shot in the finals, is such a good guy, and does the web pages for Outsports in his spare time.
And I have heard and read about the prowess of Jim at Outsports in football. Ok, if we can't get Jim maybe Cyd will play one day, I have heard he is pretty good as well. We tried to get him on the court in Sydney but he was too busy dominating in Track and Field.

Yeah, originally I was going to call them Bachelor #1, #2 et al., but I thought better of it. There were couples around, but no bitch-fights to report--and with no open branding going on, so who knows?

Average, huh? I disagree. Oh to be so talented and basketball savvy. And those guys in Sydney who pointed you out as "THAT guy" didn't think you were average either.
Hoopster #5, Rory, is a hottie. He does look, but I know it is not him, like one of the guys I've seen on Sean Cody.com.
