The nominations for alternative album are mildly interesting in a 'best music on sale at Starbucks' sort of way...

Lily Allen - "Alright, Still"
The Arcade Fire - "Neon Bible"
Bjork - "Volta"
THe Shins - "Wincing the Night Away"
The White Stripes - "Icky Thump"

The Grammys have to be the most pathetic and irrelevant awards, and that's saying a lot. At least the Oscars pretend to award excellence and not box office success. The entire thing is a joke.

I've not seen any of those five on sale at Starbucks...only Paul McCartney and Christmas music...smile.gif

“Daughtry,” Daughtry

This may be the single funniest or saddest thing I've ever read depending on if you give a crap about the Shammies.

Is it sad that I only know one of these? And the reason I know her is mainly because she falls down a lot.

Love Feist.

Amy Winehouse is already soo soo tired.

Is Chris Daughtry actually going to win a Grammy for his middle of the road rock? Oh well, I like his voice...and tight pants.
