Here's the article. Oh boy! The 1st sports scandal of the year.

Wow, that's really sh!tty for Cleveland, if true. And, wow, what a dumbass thing for Collins to say. I do feel bad for thinking Collins is an @ss, especially if it's true that Fisher and Dungy did collude. Why not file a greivance privately, have it investigated, and then have a decision rendered, vs. saying something controversial - publicly! - that is going to get another team riled up and probably negatively affect your team's performance, as well as your own ability to play!
I'm thinking there is something I'm not quite grasping about all of this, though, too...

I also think that the Mr. Family values Dung (a better suited last name, btw) is a hypocrite for possibly participating in this. Aren't born-again whackos supposed to be upstanding citizens & isn't cheating a big no no w/ God?!

I know that I am biased here -- FULL DISCLOSURE: I am a huge Titans fan -- but I hardly think that for one coach to give a nod to another coach in the final minute is collusion. The Colts really had nothing to gain. They were down 6… and probably soon to be 9. They played Sorgi instead of Manning for much of the game which didn't garner calls of collusion, so I can't see how not using their final timeout is really an issue either. There are enough real problems in pro sports - I don't think that we shoud invent controversies.

I think they should have called timeout, whether Tennessee would've been going for a field goal or not. Once they didn't they gave up the game. If I were a Browns fan I wouldn't be happy. But I don't think there was collusion. I figure Collins was drunk and heard something wrong.

Sounds like a bunch of whining to me. Perhaps if Cleveland needs to win the games they need to instead of counting on BACK DOORING themselves into the playoffs. If they file a grievance it only makes them look desperate. This whole thing is stupid.

Is it that slow of a sports day?

Is anyone really surprised that the Colts would do something like this? They owed absolutely nothing to the Browns, but to tell the opposing coach your strategy in the final minutes of the game? Wow.

I don't believe it. But Mike Florio is bound and determined to convince the world of this. He's been on a mission to discredit Dungy ever since Dungy spoke out about Spygate. It's as though Florio couldn't stand the thought that Dungy was the ethically superior coach of those vaunted Indy-New England matchups (while also managing to beat "cheating Bill" on some occassions) - and has set out to smear Dungy as a coach who also cheats (or who is complicit in the cheating).
Florio is convinced that he was the shrill who ultimately set in motion the events that led to Michael Vick's indictment, now he has another "pet project" with which he imagines he can enlighten the world. And of course he would think that this alleged incident is "far more serious" than Spygate...

Jeff Fisher said nothing of the sort occurred. What the beef is, is that the Colts did not take their final TO. They would have gotten the ball back with maybe 20 seconds left, down 9 (The Titans were at the Colts 25 and Fisher said they would have kicked another FG) or 6. Not much of a "scandal" but Florio loves blowing things out of context or just making crap up.
