YES! Tx, we agree on something! Kucinich is the man. I'm a big fan of him for his full support of everything "pro-gay" and it's unfortunate he hasn't gotten as much coverage in the mainstream media as he deserves.
btcc,
We agree on more than you think.
You just have great difficulty in being objective re: KU.
Congrats to Mizzou on beating the Pigs!

Interesting article. That's why I agree with him on the issues more than any other candidate. That poll showing him with more support than Clinton and Obama combined seems a bit suspicious though.
I think it was a good article by
The Advocate (which doesn't hide it's love for the Clintons) b/c it made the issues important, not personalities.

It's not just gays--nobody is supporting him for president for a reason. He has no charisma, a checkered history as mayor of Cleveland, and a reversal on abortion that would make Mitt Romney blush. A signed letter of solidarity with Hugo Chavez and his bizarre search for a wife don't help the cause. He doesn't deserve any more recognition than the dozens of down-the-line liberal/conservative, mostly anonymous backbench representatives from either party.
Kucinich isn't a saint by any means & he is a bit...eccentric.
However, he does have some good points:
1. "If you want marriage equality and you vote for someone who isn’t for marriage equality, then you can’t complain later on that you don’t have marriage equality. If you want marriage equality, then support someone who stands for it..."
2. "You want health care, and you vote for a candidate who’s in favor of propagating a for-profit system? Then you can’t afford health care. You want to end the war in Iraq, and you vote for someone who decides to keep the troops there until 2013 or longer? And the next year you say, “Gee, I wish we were out of Iraq.” You know what? You voted for that candidate. You have to take responsibility for the consequences of your vote."
3. "I think there’s a winner’s psychology, which the mass media propels, that promotes a false consensus. And actually it often disenfranchises people, because people keep voting against their own interests."
