I know, I know... I shouldn't be watching. Shouldn't be watching yet another reality series, but there are a few gay models, which is cool. That said, one of the gay dudes *did* get cut for being too femme (they said, on camera, that he did better catwalk than some of the women...). I was suprised - I mean, this is Bravo!

The judging on everyone, gay or straight, during the swimsuit bit was harsh, too. And when it came time for Nikki Taylor and Tyson Beckford to eliminate contestants, it seemed like they felt really bad. There was a beautiful girl named Heeda who bore an amazing resemblance to Jennifer Garner - I didn't expect to see her eliminated and not make the series...

Intrigued, but not sure I'll be watching every week (I need to pray there's not a marathon...).

It actually wasn't as wretched as I thought it would be and there are some really good looking guys on it (in that tall, thin, modelish sort of way). I dunno, though, I think I'll hold out for Bravo's "Make Me a Gay Porn Model" editition.

I thought the caliber of guys was pretty low. The gay model that kept talking about his boyfriend was completely orange on the call back. I didn't think he should've made it and Josiah should have been in his place. The longer haired guy obviously has the most potential. Some of the women look really good though, especially the girl with the chop haircut and skinny arms that almost reach her knees.

And yes I have no life and hate that I have opinions on this stuff. I blame DVR.

I was so disappointed in last nights episode.

The 'challenge' of having them go to Brooklyn and BURN their clothing made me nauseous. I can't believe they let some producer talk them into a 'sacrifice my clothing to purge my soul of bad model karma' segment! There are so many people in need of BASIC clothing and they let them burn it on National TV. Gross.

The judging is becoming snarky too. I think it is so interesting that the modeling industry has had a healthy model PR push in the last few years, but this show is highlighting the fact that the industry is only interested in emaciated one look models.

The best scene tonight was when they were in the final judging stage and they were discussing the female model who had a "hair not" (according to the New York Model's agent). They were dishing her on how they didn't like this or that, but when the blonde spoke and said how much the PHOTOGRAPHER liked her - they all completely changed their opinion and switched their comments to ' oh YEAH - I like her quirkiness etc'. It was LAUGHABLE at how the untalented sheep who manage these poor models totally bow to the TALENTED people to tell them what is good. Being a professional musician I found it interesting how this sort of crap happens all the time in the business.

I agree with the above comments on the judging being harsh, but trust me - I'm sure what we are seeing is MILD compared to happens on a daily basis to aspiring models. It's hard to see people's dignity completely ignored.

Agree with the comments above that the male models are just so-so.

OMG!! I absolutely have been loving this show. Ben is a hottie, but I dont think he is a model-model, which is awesome for me. I think he has a ton of potential. I absolutely love Ronnie's attitude and loved the first episode where he was "I like when she dominated me... like her, I too, have a boyfriend at home...." LMAO

Then last night where he revealed his crush on Ben- that was toooo cute. Id love to see all the other guys getting all "Blanche Devereaux" and being pissed he isnt crushing on them.

I also really like Perry, who is walking sex. Casey's OK, too. I have no idea how Frankie made it this far.

this show is the best ever. my favorites from online were jacki and perry; after watching the show i still believe the same despite jacki's attitude about the thong. she just has "it". perry, meanwhile has the perfect ass jiggle that one wants to see in a speedo and is clearly the class of the males. the prison guard is hot too in part because he's so cool with the gay guy...i actually liked the gay guy because he was like "my bf" when that chick was talking about touching him and how her bf would understand. meanwhile tyson in a speedo is delicious!!!

I think this should be a recurring element of every episode.

I can't keep the youngsters, uh, straight. But the guy with lots of curly hair, from Miami, has a lovely face, as does the bald one who's not the prison guard. Ronnie seems like the likely winner in terms of talent. I think the brotha (Jay?) has a nice face, but as a model in training, he's not on the upslope.

Among the women, I see Jackie, the tall, dark-haired girl (Shannon?), and the young woman whose hair was a "fashion...NOT" (after all those years in the fashion industry and the example of Miranda Priestly, among others, couldn't he come up with a better phrase???) as the standouts.

In general, the fashion hangers on come off as ridiculous. They don't ever seem to know what they're talking about, on top of which they're not even attractive, as Tyson and Nicki Taylor are. (They could speak in babytalk and still be interesting.) Some of the hangers-on's bitchy comments are funny, though, like when they asked the one young woman if anyone had commented on her body, meaning her very long torso, and she thought they were going to compliment her on her slender waist. Not this crowd, honey!

I do wish the fashion industry would stop pushing men being shorn of all body hair! It's like they want the male models to stay at a pre-adolescent state. Chest, leg and arm hair will definitely draw customers, male and female....

whoa....i just got automatically logged in....welcome to the matrix. i LOVE the fashion model judge and the devil wears prada type chick because they scold on everyone and are completely shallow while being themselves not the raving beauty types. personally i think the model who was telling people they couldn't walk looks like a gelfling from the dark crystal. meanwhile the look on her face when a model lost a lot of weight raising eating disorder red flags was priceless. i'm planning a marathon with my sister since she doesn't get bravo. and i wish, for the love of the universe, perry - stop standing with your hands covering your crotch whenever you are in a speedo and standing in front of the judges! just accept your blessing and let your light shine my friend!

What a fun time I have watching Ben and Ronnie together. They are playing this up perfectly.

I felt like I missed something this week though during the judging. I dont remember seeing Ben and Katie being scored and getting a pass to next week. Did they edit it out?

Holy fu#k me gently with a chainsaw, Batman! Last night's episode was HAWT. Perry and Casey's homoerotic photoshoot made me moist! And it seemed like they both caught wood as well. Jacki and Stephs girl on girl action was also smokin. And Ronnie and Ben flirting with each other at home on the bed with Ronnie ripping off Ben's tank? This show is quickly catching Project Runway as my must see program of the week.

I keep forgetting that the show is not taped months in advance so when the models are talking to their loved ones, the loved ones already know kind of whats going on in the house. I do feel a little sad for Ben's wife especially after last nights episode. She must revceive comments back home in Tennessee from the locals about Ronnie and her husband.

I was thrilled that Dominic got the least amount of votes. What a prick. He always mde excuses and blamed others. I hope people DO go up to him and tell him "oh, you're the wone who can't walk." just to piss him off.

How can we eliminate Frankie? I just don't get him. Loved it when the girls were imitating him and calling him Fabio.

Hello!! I watched last night's episode TWICE because I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was like soft-core porn. I loved it! Perry and Casey were VERY hot together, and Casey in particular seemed aroused. I loved his "sorry, dad" line. Bravo is far and away the gayest network on television.

My lord.

This may be the best show in the history of television. Or it may be that I'm developing an unhealthy obsession with Ronnie and Perry.

Either way, yes indeed, Bravo is officially gayer than Logo...and bless them for it.

I still can't believe what I saw last night. The boy-boy pair last night was sheer luck because if it was someone else, it would have been a disaster. I mean, even if Ronnie and Ben paired up--- that would have been a real dream cum true for Ronnie, but would put Ben in a weird spot, married and might go back to a relatively backward community. But Perry and Casey played it cool, and they must have a good film editor to piece it altogether, because I am guessing that there were really awkward moments caught on film that they decided not show on tv.

I didn't catch what Ronnie had to say about the shoot, but do you think he was hinting he caught a woodie with the girl (sorry, can't remember her name). That got me excited because I really dig gayboy-straight girl action.

If Jay isn't voted off soon, he might be one of those who is always close to being voted off, but may actually end up coming close to winning the whole thing.

Casey is probably the most "real" guy on the show, meaning, he doesn't look like a model. He might be one of those surprise competitors like Jay.

An all male version of America's Next Top Model would be even better than this show.

I don't think the male version of ANTM would be as open or liberal as MMAS has been in just a few episodes.

Although I would definitely not be hesitant to watch an all-male version of ANTM

Personally, I would do a double elimination and get rid of both Jay and Katy. Jay has an awesome personality but has this lack of drawing you to him in the pictures. Katy is a HOT girl, and unfortunately for her, is just not the "model standard" and really is a fish out of water.

I think both Katy and Jay will survive because they will have a distinct voting group- Casey is likely the one going home, when he really does not yet deserve to leave yet.

My favorite quote of the night- Tyson: "If I were a girl, I would date him [Perry]" That made me laugh!

My other favorite moment- Jay in the black paint, wearing foliage covering his entire face. "Im ready to show then what I can do..." Noone could see him LMAO

At first Ben didnt seem to me to be as hot as he is... But he is really growing on me. His body seems more defined....

I never envisioned male fashion couture in quite that way. Perry was awesome in his flight motion on the catwalk and that was my favorite piece. But WTF about Ronnie and Jay's outfits? What is with the goiters in the front of them... although I did like the apparent sporting theme to the Michigan State Spartans... (was it Michigan State?)

I wonder if there will be a Fashion Week/ Project Runway/ Make Me a Supermodel crossover in the next couple of weeks....

Let's hope there is more reason for nudity or scantily clad men soon!

the only thing frustrating about this show at this point is that i can't watch it with my little sister. too much soft porn action in my opinion. but it's still a fun show. i was wondering why they didn't show perry's butt or anything, it may be because he ends up winning or it may be because when he was wearing the black jock strap and swinging his junk about that it was a bit overwhelming or it may be because they showed his butt a few episodes ago when he was getting slapped and waxed. who really knows at this point?

I'm so loving this show, and I'm realizing that if I could only watch one channel for the next year, it would be Bravo. Frankie is not my type normally but something about him is very intriguing and his confidence is very sexy. The way he dropped that robe was slightly intoxicating. And Perry! Wow. This is definitely my new guilty pleasure.

All I can say is that Frankie and Ronnie had better both be safe this week. It had better be Katy going home. I can't believe the way they kept showing her eating all the time. Seems like Bravo was really trying to get her to leave by showing her over and over with cake and bread and ice cream and stuff. There is no way Frankie deserved to be in the bottom 3, especially after the Bryant Park Fashion Week guy said he'd hire Frankie in a heartbeat.

The focus on Katie's weight made me very uncomfortable last night. As one of the other girls said, she weighs 125 pounds and most women would kill to have her body. It just seems like the wrong message to be sending to young women interested in modeling.

I'm hoping Frankie goes. His look does nothing for me, and I find his personality off-putting.

Frankie's a cutie, along with Ben. The other men I could do without, though there's something about Jay's jaw that's hot. But he's just dead in front of the camera.

The women--well, Katy may be too buxom to be a model, but that ice-princess religious girl with the short hair is annoying. Maybe time she took a hike too.

I keep saying all these little Alabama voters are going to keep Katy safe forever in this competition. You also forgot that they were editing that she is smoking too- just a hint of getting rid of her girl next door image.

Perry actually came to his defense and brought some reality to the girls about her weight- stating that any girl would accept her figure outside of modeling and emphasizing that she did not have a weight issue. Then the panel guy said it wasn't a weight issue- it is a modeling issue for her...

Anyways, I think Frankie was the one put to the wolves. Ronnie should get the gay vote and Katy will get the girly vote. Frankie was chosen over Jacki to be sacrificed... although I think the hope should be that Katy will leave.

Last night's episode was pretty benign. Perry did lose points for his added cockiness. My love for wanting Ronnie and Ben to hook up continues. Ben flirting with Ronnie while Ronnie was trying to correct his walk was such a precious, cute moment of a straight guy comfortable in his own skin... Poor Ronnie is the litte bridesmaid in the situation... maybe Ben has a hot gay brother or friend for Ronnie?

It was sad to see Jacki go but I think it proves how gay Bravo is. If the viewers had their way there would be no women left. But now we have to choose betwen Casey, Ben and Frankie. I think with the way they edited Ben's "homophobic" comments and his confrontation with Ronnie, he's probably going to lose the fanbase of people (read gay) who are waiting for a Ronnie/Ben hook-up. They now know it is not going to happen. My guess is Ben is gone.

I think the competition is gong to come down to Perry (because he's the best guy), Holly (because she's the best girl) and Ronnie (because he's working his ass off to please the judges and he's gay.)

I completely agree, Maddog...while watching tonite I thought they were absolutely trying to turn the gay audience against Ben...and I think it will work. I think it's clear by Jacki's elimination what the driving viewership of this program is.

I don't really see Frankie as a supermodel but I do like him. I dont think he's quite as full of himself as he appears and he seems to genuinely be trying hard - I just doubt that will be enough.

I only started watching a couple weeks ago but I think Ben looks a little like Brad Pitt. (Did someone else post this or notice? I tried to read through the other comments.) I don't want to be attracted either him or Perry but their bodies... WOO! And Ronnie has grown on me.

I don't think Ben is anywhere close to supermodel material. Frankie and Perry continue to be my favorites though I think Holly has a great look. Shannon has stayed longer than she should have.

Neither Ben nor Ronnie will make it to the end. I wouldn't kick either one out of my bed for eating crackers, but there's no edge to Ben and Ronnie's too wholesome-looking, as one of the judges pointed out.

Still, I really like both and even called the damn number to keep them, when they were up for the vote. and it's great to see a straight guy-a prison guard, no less- become buddies with a gay man!

Yeah I think Ben has wrote his ticket off the show with this episode but on the upside Ronnie moved up in my book. The consummate professional. The gay vote is crucial on this show and I think every gay man's vote will go to Ronnie this week.

I miss Frankie. Loved him! Other than Perry, I don't find any of the remaining guys that hot.

I find Ben to be really hot, but he' definitely not model material. Not only does he not have the right attitude, but his look just isn't model. Ronnie's adorable, sweet and cute, but again not supermodel material. Personally, I don't find Perry that attractive, but I think he has the best supermodel look.

Holly's definitely the best among the ladies. She's got the look and she seems to be able to carry almost every outfit they give her.

I'm usually not into most bravo shows (I find Project Ruwnay insufferably boring), but I actually like Make Me A Supermodel....weird.

I wonder if Ben actually made the comments or if it were editing. I stopped watching MMAS a few weeks ago because I was getting annoyed with the focus on nudity and scandal rather than early on when they were focusing on walking and eating disorders. I know that modeling is flesh pedaling but I have a view of modeling that is classy and tasteful at least some of the time. The way things are going makes the industry appear to be a bit trashy and worse yet, tacky.

And it's kind of annoying at this point to see Perry be all everybody wants me, Ronnie jock a married dude, and people rip on each other for no reason. It kind of reminds me of a bad gay bar scene. Learning that Jacki was voted off just sealed the deal for me.

Editing is certainly employed to make reality shows more dramatic/compelling for the viewer. From the editing I get a sense that Ronnie has a sincere desire for Ben to be gay - that he is falling in love with Ben as the show progresses.

Jsieds--- I agree with you. The people I know who watches reality shows are always convinced of what they see in these shows, and I always tell them that cutting the scenes, mixing it, is not exactly a reality show. I really think that the editors, producers are brilliant--- and I wouldn't be surprised that the dramatic 10-15 minutes of the show stem from a 2 minute excitement during a 24 hour mundane day. However, last night, when Tyson sat down with Perry about his girlfriend, I felt that the revelation is "scripted", overacted and his feeling of hurt was really faked. Now, no matter how they cut and mixed it, I am truly convinced that none of that Tyson-Perry moment is real.

I travel a lot for work so I usully do not see shows when they first air. I will watch this weekend and see how good Perry's acting is.

After watching the "reunion" show last night I am beginning to wonder if Ben is just really playing Ronnie and the audience. Maybe he is really this "sharp cookie" that has figured out he can get alot more votes from America if he plays up to the "gay" Ronnie. Maybe he is not as dumb as he looks. I kinda hope not, it would be sad if he was "playing" Ronnie

I'm pretty sure the show was playing the viewers. I think the few sounds bytes we saw between them was about all there was. But Ben and Ronnie are both laughing all the way to the bank. I know I ordered my [BRONNIE] shirt.

I am for Holly too. I didn't think to many people got into this show.

To me, Holly really coasted towards the end of the competition and didn't bring anything new to the last couple of challenges. She was actually kinda blaise. I thought her Elements photos were the weakest of the group.

Perry to me has been the most consistent in his performances, although I think he is too high on his acting abilities, which he highly overrates his abilities for. I think he is less model, more wanna be actor. (the pretty boy who gets a chance despite lack of talent)

Ben's attitude mid-stream kind of pisses me off. He really is not the typical model and I can see him becoming somewhat of a problem on the photo shoots. But his photos for the Goth shoot and final Elements shoot were incredible. Even though the Wind shoot was set for a woman, he really brought a nice look to them.

I absolutely love Ronnie. The chunky Midwest Chicago boy is perfect for me. I just don't think he was consistent enough on the runway- but he usually takes good photos. His Wood Nymph was solid.

My thoughts are that none of this crew is really a Supermodel, but good working models.

I think Ronnie wins in a runaway with Ben the runnerup.

see, i feel like holly can coast because she has the best looks and the most talent. i don't think ronnie is "chunky"; beefy maybe, but chunky sort of implies something else to me. i just don't think the fact that you cry because you want something and are nice to the point that you let some dude mock you for being gay (and you still love him) all on television makes you a supermodel. maybe it's just i only had room to be taken for granted by one straight guy and so it's annoying to see ronnie in this predicament. then again, my straight guy and i slept together. then again, i do think that ronnie and ben slept together early on so maybe i should just stop now. but my straight wasn't married at the time. whatever. just let me know who wins so i can comment.
