No- hahahahaha
He will need the 200 million for his psychiatric bills after playing with Rocker and Everett and "I'm Beautiful, Damnit" Gabey. I-Rod has gotta love that great pitching staff also.
This team is just too funny.
going, going, goodbye baseball! Desi Relaford hits first homerun as A Mariner vs. Rangers!
going, going, goodbye baseball! Hammerin Mike Cameron hits another one out vs. Rangers!

Sweep, Sweep, Sweep, Sweeeeeeet
I definitely don't feel sorry for anyone on the most disfunctional team in baseball. As long as the rangers remain in last place in the AL west i'll be satisfied. And now if our adorable Freddy-G can take care of the A's all will be fine.

I remember saying a couple of years ago that I-Rod and A-Rod were the two best players in baseball. They've been together now for over a year in the last place team. Goes to show you that winning is not about having superstars.
It's hard to be sorry for a superstar when they make that kind of money. The Sox are doing fine with Rob Lowe and Shea Hillenbrand. Manny's not doing much.

Who do we thank at the Rangers for releasing Ruben Sierra? 5 for 5 two nights ago!! Is it the same person we thank for hiring John Rocker?
Go M's!!

I don't feel sorry for A-Rod, but it's not because he makes a lot of money. It's because he's not the only player on a bad baseball team. Hell, at least he's won. The Tigers are still searching. As for the dough, the first year of his contract he hit more homers than any other shortstop in MLB history despite a slow start and tons of pressure. A flop he is not.

The scary part is A Rod CHOSE this team. He could have played any number of places, perhaps for slightly less money. He said over and over again that he wanted to play for a winner and the money wasn't the main issue. Yet he left a winning team in Seattle, went to the highest bidder and tried to convince us he really believed this team could win. He's a hypocrite to the nth degree. Anyone with half a brain knew the Rangers were going to suck. So no I don't feel sorry for him. He is perhaps the best all around player this side of Barry Bonds. But he is withering away deep in the heart of Texas.
