I might consider taking the train up there for the day. I thought I might be in NY for the weekend of the 30th when the Eagles and Giants play, but I've got other plans now.

Gents, if you don't mind my asking, what kind of a bar is the Hangar?
I've never been there. I'm might be there next sunday just to see the Cowboys lose again and to see Dave Camp make another terrible coaching decision . . .

Its a gay bar on Christopher Street. Pretty mixed crowd. We go there because they have the games on Sunday afternoon and also for Mark the bartender.

LOL!!! I may have to drink heavily (again) for this one. And remind me not to get outta control with Mark!

Haven't you heard? The Cowboys are going to beat Washington tomorrow. The SI Jinx and all. I've predicted it. And you see where I am in the Pick'em standings so I know my stuff! And the Giants are fading, so when they play the Cowboys, who knows?

Still, if you're going to drink heavily and mess with Mark, I may have to strongly consider taking the train up there for the day so I can witness this, or something.

(Meanwhile, I might not be making my other trip on the weekend of the 30th after all, so who knows, I might end up in NY then, too.)

Ted, it was a surprisingly convincing story...until you mentioned you and Mark and wild monkey love. Then it all fell apart!

I have to check the train schedules. I'd only be up for the day, unlike my previous trips. I'm conducting some training at work so I really shouldn't take Monday off...should I?

Sorry, guys, I won't be there tomorrow after all. A friend offered me a ticket to the Eagles game at the Vet, so I'll be out in the cold instead. But I'll be thinking of you guys--and PLEASE leave poor Mark alone. He told me last night in bed how he is really feeling harassed by you! So be on your best behavior or ELSE!

Well that was lots of fun! Five guys all together. I can't believe how MEAN some of you guys can be! Lots of laughs, mostly at Pete's expense. Lets do it again soon.

Ugh! It's only now after my second nap of the day that I feel human again and actually have saliva in my mouth. It WAS fun, though. Football, Donna Summer, and Mark the Bartender showing us his underwear, which one of us had been trying the read the waistband of.

Agreed!!! It was a lot of laughs! I think Mark's boxer shorts read "If you can read this, you're tossing my salad". :eek: :eek: :eek:

LOL, Pete. I had a great time as well, even though I missed seeing Mark's underwear. Hope we can do this again soon.

I would think that Pete had the LAST laugh, though--especially on Giants fans! The Cowboys have now beaten all of the other NFC East teams....except ONE....

If you were to get together on the 23rd I could definitely make it, especially since I now have the 24th off thanks to the president.
