Have y'all seen that ad where a guy is in full support for MittWitt Romney? It shows the very appreciative (sp?) father stating that when he was a co-worker of Romney at Bain Capital, his daughter became missing. Well, MittWitt being the superhero, supposedly shuts down the entire company to help find the man's daughter. And now the daughter is safe at home.

So let's analyze....

What the ad wants you to believe: Something horrible happened to this girl and Mitt Romney being the awesome person he is pulled out all the stops to find her.

What the ad doesn't tell us but a Boston reporter found out - The daughter went out drinking with friends, went to a club and took some extacy and didn't come home for about a day.

I wonder if MittWitt had his hairstylist with him during the supposed search to spraypaint a hair "tussle" to show exhaustion?

Here's a more truthful Romney ad, from the Onion:

My partner and I had more fun mocking that Romney ad than any of the others. It was just soooo over the top and made Romney look so "caring and compassionate" (holding back gag reflex).

What I loved that was two New Hampshire newspapers editorials called the man a "phony." Hate his smirk too....

I really wonder what it was that the people of Massachusetts saw in this guy to make him governor.

Could he have been a better option that the other person on the ballot at the time (as impossible as that seems)? People probably didn't know what a slime he was at that point in his political career.

I for sure didn't vote for him. But since he is so "put together" physically, has a "yes sir" wife, has 5 hunky sons, and was fresh off the heals of supposedly saving the Olympics ya know, like he saved that girl....oh, and that he ran on issues views that completely different that what he has now, he suckered Massachusetts into believing he is awesome.

Oh, and just an aside to his sleaziness.....The last year or so of his Gov term, he left his Lt. Gov, Kerry Healey in charge of the state while he was flitzing around the country testing the Presidential waters. He was never around, and she-at the drop of a hat-had to run the state. Then she threw her hat into the ring for the next election. He hardly showed support. And just recently he was quoted as saying something to the effect of that it was her own fault she lost the election (for Governor) because she didn't run the campaign right.

I hope some of you caught the incident ( video) where Romney was called out by a Reporter the other day when Mitt likes to proclaim that nobody who is a lobbyist is running his campaign, when in fact its not true. The Reporter kept saying, " that is not true", and kept pressing Romney...He got visibly upset over the Reporter who kept correcting him, and he got smirkier and smirkier. It was all over the talking head shows last night including Keith Olberman and Dan Abrams...it was hysterical...the man is a phoney, with Huck-a-boob and his confederate flag flap not too far behind...good grief, these two are a riot!

Yup, the clip where he keeps giving the awful Romney smirk and keeps saying "Let's have a conversation, let's talk" but then keeps turning away...

That video is AWESOME!!! In Romney's eyes, running a campaign is different than advising a campaign...disregard that the lobbyist in question is his primary advisor to the campaign. Yeah, that makes sense. We'll have a Washington lobbyist heavily advising the campaign, but we don't want it to look like he's running the show. We'll give that role to someone else, so when the press comes calling, we can give our lame-o answer. Personally, I don't believe anything Romney says...I believe what he's not saying.

All this makes me wonder if Bushy would say that Rove only advised his campaigns and didn't run them? Uh huh... rolleyes.gif

Right on both counts, Matt.

The 2002 Democratic candidate was weak and not well-supported by the party machine. Of course Romney's campaign played right to our liberal politics and religious tolerance, and our tradition of electing Republican governors and a Democratic legislature. Since he had no history other than his business resumé, none of us knew back then what a snake he is.

He had run for Senate in 1994 against Ted Kennedy, but the governorship was Romney's first elective office. As soon as he won it, of course, he started his campaign for the White House and his rightward move on social issues. Slime indeed.
