I couldn't find a gay basketball league here in Houston, Tx. and was hoping that someone could help. Is there one? If not, how would go about organizing one to be part of the GNBA? Thanks for any help!

there's no gay basketball league here in houston. somebody was floating the idea of starting one last year but i haven't heard anything about it lately. i think someone just needs to take the bull by the horns and get it done. email me at faydman@yahoo.com if u wanna further discuss it.

Had thought about trying one here in Dallas but I think all of 2 of us were even interested. Ive found Texas not very conducive for playing basketball anywhere to begin with. Thus I havent played in years.

Someone tried to start a gay baseketball league in Toronto last year (and I tried to join), but sadly they didn't get enough interest. There is a lesbian league, however.

Boston has a big league (8 teams in competitive, 8 teams recreational, 5 womens teams), and there are leagues in NY, LA, Chicago, Atlanta, San Diego, Minneapolis... not sure why there aren't more in more cities.

Sorry guys, no gay basketball league here in Atlanta. There is a team that plays in the tournaments around the country but no consistent tourney play in the city.
