Noticed quite a bit of a slow down going on just now. Freezing, stalling, running way slow....anybody else experiencing this??

When I clicked onto Outsports the home page came up as usual but when I clicked on the discussion board, blog and article about the Gay Ski Week I got different messages about the page not being available. Right now the discussion board seems to be fine. The blog was really slow to come up.

Something is definitely going on. It took about 9 attempts to get to the latest new posts. Got lots of "too many connections" error messages, and then it took FOREVER to get to this point just now.....something is up and I don't think its too good....

This has happened before. I don't think it's a big deal unless it happens all the time.

Plus its taking alot longer than normal to post I note...I still say something is wrong or going there...

The discussion board is working fine for me but the Blog is not working for me at all.

Had some more strange occurances this morning. Got several " too many connections" error messages, and then it took forever to open several threads...I sense there is potentially more problems or the same issue that we had before happening again???!!

It's not the board, it's the whole site. There seems to be some sort of database issue our server host is working on.

I'd start considering a new hoster. :-\

The hoster is fine. I think it was a plugin for our Blog that went haywire. I deactivated it and all seems to be OK.

Here I thought, I broke the board when I posted a pic of hottie, Adam Levine. I'm so glad the board is back up and running.

Thanks Jim. I'm sure a lot of us realize that with technlolgy will come glitches every now and then. I'm sure you worked as diligently as you could to resolve the problem.

Just now experiencing more glitches, and stall outs. Something still ain't quite right IMO. I will go to open a thread and it just stalls, then if I hit go back, sometimes it stalls, so then I get out completely and come back into the discussion board and then it seems ok for the time being...maybe its just me, but there still seems to be some kinks to work out it appears...

Working fine for me today.

It all seems to be running great for me since we fixed the glitch and I am more sensitive than most since I have to update a lot of stuff. Of course, I have just jinxed it!

Lots of problems this morning Jim. Took many many many attempts to get here, and then saw a floating ad off to the right about "connection problems." Once getting here had problems posting too..

Can anyone tell me why things are going so slow for me, only on Outsports? The past couple of days, its like I am on dial-up only on the Outsports site? I am stumped.....

Funny, Outsports is working fine for me today....but I've been having connection problems with other sites.

It's not just you,Tom.I've found that I had better double click on everything because otherwise there is a delay and yes it has only been on this board.Also, I almost always get a script error message regardless of the thread.

Thanks Eddie. I wasn't sure if it was just me or what? Outsports is dragging something seriously bad. I have hi-speed, it should move like lightning. Its anything but the past few days. Only happens here.

Interesting. I thought it was just my employer attempting to discourage "outside" Internet use...

Am I the only one experiencing a very slow board? It has been stalling/freezing up in between changing topics.Very frustrating!This has been going on for over a week.

Nope, your not alone. I had some hiccups, earlier. I suspect that obnoixous noisy ad may be part of the problem....
