Anybody wanna meet somewhere (in the city perhaps) and watch the Giants game Sunday? Should be a pretty good game.

Woulds love to but I've got plans already for Sunday. Mets-Braves series would also make a great to get-together !!!

I can't do this week, either.

But I'd certainly be up for it just about any other night.

I'm sort of debating spending a few days in NYC that weekend. If I do, might a Philly guy be welcome at such a gathering?

Oct 7th works for me. Looks like Deadskins at Giants is the early game, followed by Jets at Bills. Two very winnable games for the good guys.

Joe, we should be there for several hours. I don't know the address, but it's at 7th Ave. and close to Christopher across from the Duplex (Stonewall area).

So does this place have more than one TV to show multiple games or will I have to just rely on Eagles updates while watching the Giants? (Sadly, it looks like I'll have no reason to watch baseball that day.)

I just wanted to say that I had a great weekend in NYC, and I had a BLAST on Sunday! Except for this slight problem of the Eagles losing... :confused: Thanks to Ted (although his NY teams won)...and to George (his team, the Vikings, lost)...and to Pete, the Cowboys fan...what can I say? (Hey Pete, I don't seem to have your e-mail...drop me a note, I have a question for you.)

I'll definitely have to make more trips to NY for these get-togethers!

I had a great time, too! I had to laugh this morning (late morning!) when I looked at the piece of paper where my picks were. The comments that were on there were hysterical. And who is "Mark"??

I had a very nice time, gentlemen. I know I left about 8:30 and you guys were still going strong - I think that shot did me in. BTW, I stayed so long I got my CFB picks to CYD 20 minutes past the deadline and he said I was too late. Not that I'm bitter.

I had such fun the other day I'm sorely tempted to hop on the train and drop in again! The only thing is, I wouldn't be able to stay as late as I did last week since I'd have to catch a train home that night in order to go to work the next day...hmmmm...or I could call in sick...

Looking at my train schedule, in order to get the last connecting train home from Trenton to Phila. Sunday night, I'd have to be at Penn Station for the NJT train leaving at 10:42 pm. Otherwise I'd have to wait until 4:49 am to leave Penn Station for the first connecting train Monday morning. So if I should show up on Sunday and then stay late and miss my train, who's going to keep me company until 4:49 am?

heh heh....well, here I am at home. I slept in instead of hopping the train. Oh well, I hope everyone else is having fun. But New York hasn't seen the last of me yet. I SHALL RETURN! I've even got a couple of weeks in particular in mind...

Warned...ha...There's a storm watch as Hurricane Joe is threatening to move up from the southeast... Well, someone mentioned that I should visit when the Eagles play the Giants. That's next Monday night, and that might be tough, with work and all.

The other Eagles/Giants game is on Sun. 12/30. I'm off from work from Christmas to New Year's. That would be a strong possibility for me, if enough people don't have family/travel plans for the holiday.

Other ideas I had would be on 11/11 -- Eagles/Vikings and 11/18 -- Eagles/Cowboys. Those would be rather fun, don't you think? Especially after the Eagles win. The 11/11 week has an advantage since I have another 4-day weekend (Fri-Mon) like I did last week.

Hmmm....maybe I should just move to NYC, huh?
