Are there any gay skiers out there? I live very near Sun Valley, Idaho, and can do it all. (Skiing, boarding, telemark...keep your minds out of the gutter boys!) I know there are others out there, and that gay ski clubs even come visit from time to time.

So, here is my proposal: if your club or group is planning a trip, post a message here to let the locals know, or perhaps others that will be in the same area, same time. We can all use more friends and the local guys may even share some of their favorite runs or powder stashes (far, far too few this year!).

We should have a couple months of decent skiing left out West, and the East will be skiing till June! Let's hear your plans....

mntjock, gosh use to and lots of it, unfotunately I can't any more because of a back and knee condition, but you sure do live in a gorgeous area. Made my way down there many years ago. Absolutely glorious, scenery was stunning. I am jealous!

I ski as much as you can living in the Southeast. I qualified for Nastar's National Championships and will be attending them in Park City, UT March 27-31. Are you or anyone you know going to them?

Love to ski, but this year I've got so much more into boarding since I got a snowboard for x-mas. It's been a great winter for East Coast skiing, especially for the slopes in Pennsylvania, West Virginia & North Carolina. I'm competent on all but the super-steep mogully stuff, though I still consider myself to be a better kayaker than skier.
