Guys and Gals,

Can anyone think of a Professional Male Golfer that is openly gay? I know there are open female golfers but i have never heard anyone talk about an open man?

As an aspiring Amateur Golfer it's hard to find the courage to open up to people when there is no other men that have made the leap before me.

Not a single one that I can think of. The PGA seems a nice place to become a conservative, God fearing, GOP loving, closet case though.

Understandable...but being that golf isn't a team sport, that could make it easier.

I met a pro golfer (NGA Hooters Tour) about a year ago, and he told me that Jose Maria Olazabal is family.

It would be sweet to be the first. I got a State Am coming up in a couple months ... maybe you 'll hear about it....

and Jose Marie ??? Why couldn't it have been Adam Scott.... DAMMIT
