Hi ladies and gentlemen.

I know a lot of you are looking for a baseball/softball posse. You know, a bunch of GLBT'ers who are into playing softball and watching baseball.

Well, you are sure to find one in The Big Apple Softball League, NYC's GLBT Softball league.

This year I'll be managing a team in the league, and I am looking for players. We'll be playing in a recreational-competitive division. That is, while we will always play to win, we are mostly out to have fun, to grow as players, and to make friends.

You should have average to above average skills, regardless of whether you have played before or not. Most somewhat-athletic people are fine for this level of play.

Of course, if your skills and competition level are either superior to this or much less developed, let me know that, too, and I'll hook you up with some folks who can get you on teams with others at similar levels.

E-mail me at mailto:mdradio@verizon.netmdradio@verizon.net to respond.

You an visit the BASL website to find out more about the league, or go to the Team X website to larn more about the new team I'll be managing.

Hope to hear from you soon.

It saddens me that not ONE person has replied to my post. Guess I have to post it again!

Friends:

With winter in full-swing, I know you can't wait till spring.
Neither can I... because I am a member of a wonderful GLBT
organization that would like to count YOU among its members as well.

That organization is the New York metropolitan area's longest-
operating GLBT athletic and social group, the Big Apple Softball
League [www.bigapplesoftball.com].

In fact, I have been involved with the BASL, also known as New
York's Gay and Lesbian Softball League, since 1997. This season, I
will be managing a team, and I am seeking men and women
interested in playing. You need not be highly-skilled in softball,
nor do you need to have a lot of experience. The team and league are
open to EVERYONE at EVERY LEVEL.

Why not have some fun, meet others and make friends in the NYC GLBT
community, and have a regular outlet for physical activity? If you
or someone you know are/is interested (whether you've played
in BASL or elsewhere before or not), either:

1) Reply to this posting with your e-mail address so I can contact
you directly, OR

2) E-mail me separately at mdradio@verizon.net,

OR

3) Best yet: Visit the team's web site
[http://teamxproject.250free.com] to find out more and click the "e-
mail here" link to let me know you're interested.

Come OUT and play in NYC in 2005!!

Thanks...

Mike D'Antonio
