Hey guys, anyone interested in meeting up this Sunday? Canmark is coming down for a NYC visit and would like to join us. All are welcome.

Hey Pat... and everyone. I'm good for this Sunday, but I would prefer if we go to the Barrow St. Ale House. I HAVE to see SF back in Texas Stadium. I hope The Dallas defense goes after Terrell Owens, and nails him to the star on the field!!!!

Hey Pete, the Barrow St. Ale House sounds fine. But are they going to have the Cowboys game on this time?

I have been toying with the idea of coming up to NYC Sunday. Have you guys decided where you would be meeting and around what time. At this time I have not decided if I would go earlier or later in the afternoon.

I plan to be at the Ale House by 12:45!! And they'd BETTER have the Cowboys on the right TV set, or God help me, I'll... I'll...
(Sorry, but I can't top MunsonMan's comment!)

Turns out I do indeed have to work. Anyway, if you all are still out and about later in the day, swing by Ty's and say hi! Have fun.

Hey guys... I know we talked about getting together again for the 1st round of playoffs on a Saturday, but I just noticed that there is a full day of games on Saturday, December 21!!!
You guys up for some NFL next Saturday? My liver prefers a Sunday recovery!!!

Well whatever is convenient for your liver! Sounds good to me.
And I'm sorry I missed meeting Canmark and Phillyrunner. Hopefully you guys and other out of towners can join us another time!

Sorry I missed you George. I was going to tell you about my experience at the batting cages at Chelsea Piers. I took such a mighty cut that I actually broke an aluminum bat. The bat head went flying and I was left holding the handle (pat125 witnessed this feat). Of course, after this I fell apart and started swinging and missing. I want to go back again, practise, join a league, and challenge you for the batting title.

It was great getting together again Sunday, and nice to have two newcomers, Canmark and Phillyrunner.

I had to head for the hills on that one! My only really good hit was a defensive swing on a ball I wasn't expecting.
Saturday the 21st sounds good. Where do we want to meet this time?

Possibly snoozers, but I might well take the train up there anyway. Depends on how I feel at the end of this week (since I'm back to my regular job location, and Friday I have jury duty). Oh, and if NYC transit is on strike or not.

Okay, How about the Hangar for the 21st? I'll probably be there half time of the 1st game.

I was thinking of taking the train, but I've got myself a bit of a cold (again....grrrr) and I need to try and get things in order before Christmas, so I'm going to have to pass.

Anybody interested in hooking up this Saturday for the Giants - Eagles game or Sunday for the Jets - Packers? Saturday might be better since we know the game will be important, whereas the Sunday game could conceivably be completely meaningless if the cards don't go the J-E-T-S way. Let me know.....

I'm game. Tomorrow is fine. The Raiders-Chiefs game could have some implications for the Jets playoff chances.

Excellent!! Giants - Eagles kickoff is at 1:30. Where shall we go? Since there's only one game on at a time, The Hangar would work. However, the crowd would be much more into it at Barrow Street . Either is fine by me, just let me know which one you guys prefer. Hey, George, if you wind up having to work that evening, meet us anyway and you can drink Shirley Temples while we swear, spit, and scratch ourselves!! Hey, Joe in Philly, you coming up? This game could have implications for the Iggles, as well.....

Either place is fine with me as well. We can also bar hop between both places.

OK, time to be decisive. Let's meet at The Hangar at 1:30. As Pat says, if we want to switch we can just walk over to the Alehouse. I may have my very handsome nephew the West Point upperclassman with me for a while. We can use him as bait.
