I have seen those note at the bottom of the index page "Most users ever online was 591 on Nov 13 2006, 10:06 AM" and have often wondered why this date and time as the most users online at any single time.

Was that about the time Outsports scooped ESPN on the John Amaechi story?

Curiosity is a good thing.
...Now as for that date who knows. I did a search online w/ that specific date & I didn't see anything of importance. Perhaps there was some sort of bitchfest goin on 'round these parts & there were many lookie loos that day.
