The company I work for does a weekly poll on all kinds of travel related questions. This week's is asking which major international sporting event are people planning on attending in 2009/2010 - so I thought I'd post the link here to see where Outsporters are going. So far from the VERY limited returns the majority of responents at 62% have answered neither, 33% Copenhagen, 4% Cologne and 0% both events. Here's a link if you want to participate.

Not sure why he selected me......but for some odd reason, a Danish journalist sent me a private Outsports message about financial difficulties with the Copenhagen OutGames and some supposed shenanigans by the CEO. Did anybody else receive this? It's a bit of deja vu as it seems Outgames 2 is showing signs of danger. Some very serious fund diversions (alleged).

There are also claims that Outgames is already $ 700,000.00 in the hole and has only reached $30,000 in sponsorship.

I hope he has his facts right. I too got the message and feel that somebody is trying to stir up trouble. Clearly newspaper reporting in Denmark is as pathetic as the rest of the world.

No doubt we will start to get the German newspapers starting to harass Cologne soon.

Why can't the media work to promote both events so they can both be successful?
