Like "father," like "son." Five overtimes...and the right team won. biggrin.gif

It's shocking that anyone could make 98 saves in a game...and still lose. blink.gif Congrats to both teams for playing an amazing hard fought game.

It broke the record at 74:56 of overtime set in 2003 in Copps Coliseum by the Hamilton Bulldogs and Houston Aeros in game 2 of the Calder Cup Finals.

Useless note....I seem to remember being at that game, but didn't stay 'til the end because the dude I went with didn't want to stay and was bitching all thru the second and third Ot's. I finally gave in after the third and left.

Now thats alot of ot's. I thought my Chiefs/Ams was king of the overtimes in our Conference battles. We had two, two overtime battles, one won by each team. Not even close to this one though.

Did you need him for a ride to the hotel or for something else tongue.gif ? Otherwise, I'd have waved goodbye.

Very off-topic except for the sport...but I love the Verizon wireless commercial for their hockey videos or whatever it is they're selling, with the new daddy/hockey fan in the hospital nursery banging on the glass and shouting at his baby and pointing at the others. "You OWN this nursery! LOSER! LOSER! BEST BABY IN THE WORLD!!!!!" laugh.gif
