Maybe it's because I spent a few years on the east coast and Sue always seems so poised but I thought this was hilarious:

I think also for me it was funny to wonder who she was talking to. I kept thinking it was the guy from the Hal McRae Kansas City Royals press conference:

That sh*t was HILARIOUS!! I curse like a sailor so it wouldn't have bothered me but I could see how would bother other people who are quite sensitive to profanity. She may get suspended or fined but I would like to know....what the f*ck was he doing? LOL laugh.gif

The whole incident is unfortunate. I have a great admiration for Sue Simmons, and she is just a human being to make a mistake like that, specially when she thought that they were just rehearsing. I really do hope they don't kick her out of the station, because her and Chuck make a very good nightly news team in the tri-state area.

Funny video, apparently it's all her co-anchor's fault.

Well with Bill O'Reilly's recent video, at least Sue isn't alone. Here's Gawker's list of the top ten angry on-camera meltdowns.

ETA: Sorry, the links don't seem to be working, but they're claiming that Sue's co-anchor was playing on the computer instead of reading his line. Therefore Sue inquired "What the F@#K are you doing?"

I thought the issue was more about how this woman talks to her co-worker? I mean, f-bomb aside, how f*cking disprespectful. If a co-worker talked to me like that, I'd shove that microphone right up their...

The O'Reilly dance remix is hysterical!!! It's on Towleroad if you haven't seen it...

So glad that the anchors on the Today Show and those who actually KNOW Sue Simmons are coming to her defense and saying that she was really just being sarcastic and that you have to know her to understand what she said. She didn't think they were live and from what I understand these two have been on air together for quite some time. I've said similar things to co-workers and if you have that kind of relationship, its not that big of a deal between those two people. A flub for sure but geez...is it that serious?

If the other link doesn't work you can find both curse and contrition here:

I hope that I won't have to break out my "Free Sue Simmons" t-shirt. biggrin.gif
I don't think people get fired based on cursing in NYC, I think if it were Cincinnati, maybe....

I found this link which was pretty funny too:
