There's nothing that can make me angrier these days than the stupidity of this "war". My dad went to Vietnam and, although he functioned extraordinarily in spite of it after coming back, I was and still am a witness to the aftermath imprinted on him. The "ghosts of war" haunted him for years (though he never said anything and rose to the top of his profession and raised us mighty well) and I just cannot imagine what soldiers have to cope with because of a group of powerful people who have a personal vendetta or a fetishistic obsession with their country and having their names in the History books.
I cannot watch the news and hear of dead and/or wounded soldiers and Iraquis and not cry.
