Hey all! Last year, watching the Colts-Pats game at Barrow Street Ale House had such a good effect on the game, I want to do it again! Who's in?

Cyd, even though I'll be in Albany on Saturday, I'll be sure to be at Barrow St. for the 1pm Eagles game. Hopefully someone can get there early to grab a table for the group. Plus someone must keep George_VikingFan from running out into oncoming traffic when Philly runs up the score early.
I say that Sunday becomes the
Offical Outsports Football Gathering Day . Right now it looks like there is this event coming together in NYC, and the groups in Philly and Phoenix. Now the rest of you... step up and get planning!

Pictures must be taken and posted in a giant gallery of gatherings to commemorate each event.

OK - This needs a bump.

I'm not aware that there's going to be a Philly gathering. In one of the threads someone had asked "where is everyone watching the game" but unless there are some definite plans made, I assume I'll be watching at home.

Well dammit you Philly folks are always having gatherings so I put 2 and 2 together and came up with 7 this time! You know you want to have a gathering at the Bike Stop. It must be done.

I won't be able to make it. Cattledog and I are going on vacation and will be away the next two weekends. I hope you all have a great time. Have a beer or two for me.

oH, I'm just seeing this thread. Sunday is a good day for me, maybe. If though anyone wants to watch the Jets-Steelers, I'm still offering my apt for a meeting(it's a good reason for me to clean). Details?
hey, and happy vacationing to pat125 and cattledog--where are you going? some place to wear small bathing suits I hope.

Details are meeting at Barrow Street Ale House a little before 1pm I guess for game one. I hope to get there early enough to get a table for all. I sure hope George_VikingFan can make it.

Yes happy vacationing to you two.... but please don't send Outsports any postcards of you in
any kind of bathing suit. Think of the children.....

To spare everyone else, I won't be wearing any bathing suits on this vacation, since it won't get above 45 degrees where we're going. We're flying into Amsterdam, and will also be going to Brussels and Antwerp.
Enjoy the games.
Let's go J - E - T - S.

Pat125, you should ALWAYS travel with a bathing suit, it doesn't take up much room and you never know when the invitation might arise. Unless of course you prefer skinny dipping--then I applaud you.

Shore, you HAVE to come. I need as many people there this time as were there for the Pats' glorious win over the Colts last year. George, any chance, or do you have to work? Hey, if you're at work, will the game be on there?

Wow, Woody Page on Cold Pizza is picking the Colts over New England. Maybe I will have to show up for Cyd.

I think there are a number of people who pick the Colts. One of ESPN's football commentators, Mark Schlereth (sp?) was on Sportscenter last night and said that the Colts would win and that Tom Brady would be the "biggest disappointment" of the weekend, or words to that effect.

Well, I took the Colts in the other thread.
Unfortunately I will not be at Barrow Street after all. It's supposed to get very cold this weekend, which can only mean: HELLO FORT LAUDERDALE.
I will be around next weekend though, if anyone wants to meet up then.
Go, J-E-T-S!

All but one of this motley crew of "experts" pick the Colts.
Note how their highest win total -- 164 -- was 9 behind the Outsports Pick 'Em leaders!

Andre29, yes, I'm sure Cyd would like more Pats support on Sunday. Since no one is coming over to my place for the Jets-Steelers, I guess I will be there on Sunday. E'mail if you need info.

Of course! We'll be downstairs at Barrow Street Alehouse.
George, the game starts at 4:30 on Sunday. Any chance you'll be there with us until 7:30? Would love to see you! Anyone going to be there for the Iggles-Vikes game? I will probably show up around halftime of that game.

Lawjoc, seeing as Cyd is a busy married man, I'll answer for him. As long as your karma is good and proPats, I'm sure you are welcome. We usually have a few pints of beer, some nibbly foods and cheer 'em on.

I should be getting to Barrow St. around 12:30ish depending on the Thruway traffic. C-ya all tomorrow!
