Does anyone else love this show?
I cant get enough of it, although i must give those parent a lot of credit
they're doing a great job of raising those kids.

IF I ever admitted to watching this show, I'd probably admit I love it.

If I ever admitted to watching this show, this'd be my favorite moment:

Jon runs down the street to get the kids' ball thats rolling away.
One of the kids: Daddy's running away (sob)!
Kate: Don't worry. Daddy's not running away. He's not going to run away while we're watching.

My only criticism is the free plastic surgery both have gotten as a result of the show. (She got a tummy tuck, he got a hair transplant.)

The TV columnist in my paper mentioned this show briefly -- mentioned how the wife badgered him about his hair, and mentioned how this couple left their 8 kids for 3 days with a friend who had 4 kids of her own, and the majority of the kids were sick.

Yeah, they're doing a great job raising those kids. rolleyes.gif

Well the tummy tuck would be a medically covered procedure under most insurances after the significant skin expansion occurring during the pregnancy.

Hair transplant- definitely not. But Id be pulling my hair out with even 2 kids, let alone 8 LOL

I thought about this and felt a little annoyed that they got freebie like this, but then I realized, that they'll take anything people would give, in exchange for advertising the services these surgeons provide and having it televised. To me, they developed thick skins for any indignities.
The two, before having 8 kids, were really good looking couple. Some people feel good when they look good, and when you feel good, you can be a better provider. I heard this on tv, and probably not quoting it correctly "You can't feed someone when you're hungry". With 8 kids all under the age of 8, you need to feel good for most of the day.
Just sharing.

I can understand Kate's tummy tuck a little better than the hair thing but maybe that's because I have a full head of hair and would kill for a tummy tuck. smile.gif (Years of yo-yo dieting.)

I know they also got a piano for free. My feeling is through the show, and its obvious beneifts, they feel they'll be able to give their kids more. Kate has even said having the video of the show is priceless. What the cost will be....who can say.

The kids are so adorable, though. I do think Kate & Jon do a good job.
