Normally, the singers on America's Got Talent could get every single family member, friend, and former elementary school teacher to say a Novena to St. Jude and they still wouldn't have a snowball's chance of getting a "yes" from Simon Cowell to go to Hollywood (which is why, duh, they audition for AGT instead of AI). So imagine my surprise to find, amongst this steaming pile of cow-plop, a genuine talent. He sings a beautiful version of "Walking In Memphis."

His name is Eli Mattson. I don't know much about the guy, but now thanks to him, I am officially hooked to the AGT Velveetafest. Anybody else see this guy?
