I had a chance to meet some of the members of Team G-Force on Friday night in Nashville. They are an impressive group of guys.

I am glad that Team G-Force came to Nashville to play in a tournament and hope they come back again another time.

Here's the story about Team G-Force.

Joe, thanks for posting the link to the article.

I had the pleasure of talking to Dave Farber for a few minutes on Friday night when the team made an appearance at Tribe in Nashville. He is a very impressive guy. He is a very intelligent young man and obviously and extremely good looking guy.

I enjoyed hearing him talk about the fact that he is able to be openly gay on both Penn's hockey team and his fraternity at Penn. That is fantastic.

Before I had spoken with him, one of the other team members had mentioned that he had written an article for OutSports. When I got to meet him, I told him that I enjoyed the OutSports website. It took me a while to find the article. I spent a few minuts trying to find it on Satruday and then found it on Sunday. I am glad, therefore, that you posted a link to it for anyone that wants to read it.

I wish that the majority of students at the university from which I obtained my undergraduate degree, Vanderbilt, would be open enough to accept an athlete that is openly gay. I don't believe a majority of students would, though.

It was interesting to hear Dave talk about some career plans that he is considering. I wish him and every member of the team all the best.
